Sandwich Shop Hobo's reviews
15Looking for a lunch spot and stumbled on this gem. Rueben sandwich was super yummy, as was the soup of the day - chicken dumpling. Will DEFINITELY come back!
I love Hobo's sandwich shop. I used to go there all the time with my grandmother when she was alive. I have a lot of great memories there. Plus their food is second to none they have excellent sandwiches. The owners great that they stay open later then they used to. And a soft drink refills are free now. Very nice people good place to eat
This place is a true gem to the area. I've had a few sandwiches here but the ruben is the best for me. Love it and happy to support this local business.
Hand's down the best sandwich shop in Houston. I've been going here since I was a kid. I'm 46. I love the hobo sandwich is. It's my favorite. The bread is very fresh and homemade daily.
They are very Rude. I called one time to place an order 10-15 min before closing and the lady said i can not order because they where close and intold her i was 2 min away. Then another day i went and the lady didn't even let me finish my order and close the window on me.
Great sandwich! Been going for years. Consistency is the key. Same sandwich, Great service. You get what you pay for.
Loved it! Soft toasty bun Ham & Swiss sandwich. I don't usually like olives but it was a great sandwich regardless. Great service. $22 for 2 full sandwiches, chips and a large drink. Highly recommended
I used to work here in the early 90's. I Loved the Sandwiches then and still do. I live across town now but I'll make a special trip every chance I get to get a Hobo. The Best sandwiches I've ever eaten. They beat Subway and Scholskys hands down.
Excellent service and very nice staff! Sandwiches were and continue to be fantastic as always!
I've been coming here since the 90's.
Still one of the best sandwiches around.
The bread! Delightfully toasty on the outside and still heavenly soft in the middle!
Perfection that is only achieved when MADE IN-HOUSE and with love!
Sooo many times I’ve driven past this place not knowing what I had been missing.
Next time you’re craving a sammy, check out this lil gem.
I was a little hesitant because the sandwich I wanted came with black olives and that’s just not something I eat, but that was one of THE BEST chicken salad sandwiches I have ever had. Yummm! It had only the slightest sweetness to it, but that may have been coming from the bun… not sure. More research is needed. Can’t wait to go back!
I just found a place that has been right under my nose for years.man can't believe I've been missing out.the staff is great and the food is awesome.stop by you will not be disappointed. Well until next time signing off Two Peas
This is literally the best sandwich ever! The bun is made in house and is off the chain good.
Dive sammich shop with good simple fare. Get the Special for large round sandwich of the day, chips, and drink. Wear slacks to stand out
