It was just a quick stop for the night but the room was amazing. The hotel was very clean in the lobby areas and the room.

Very friendly staff. Very polite. Took care of getting me a room in no time. Hector Ortiz was the man taking care of everything. Rooms were clean. Even gave us pool towels for the pool. Excellent stay. Will definitely be staying there again.

The owner yelled at me in front of the hotel for walking my dog before checkout. He was upset because I had brought my dog in even though I had stayed there two nights and no one ever told me dogs weren’t allowed. When I told him this he told me to review the policy and instead of leaving it at that he called the cops on me. I was beyond disappointed in front of other guests by the owner and when I told him I was going to call for help to their line he said “call them and tell them how rude I was” seemingly mocking me. He then locked me out if my room while the cops arrived. They charged me 500 dollars for the pet fee. Do not stay here!

We had to go back to the front desk three times after check in because key cards did not work, took them one hour to solve the problem, then the TV control did not work, they had to get one from another room

IHG customer for more than 20 years, currently Diamond Elite member and for sure front desk / customer service experience has been the worst ever courtesy by Leslie.

Stayed the night of June 25th, 2022 all good throughout that stay but when I made a new reservation for an extra day (June 26th) I was told by Leslie at the front desk before noon time that I could not keep the same room despite the fact that avaibility of similar rooms on IHG portal allowed me to do a reservation.

Rather than trying to help and find a solution so that I would not have to do a check out and a check in later that day I was asked to leave the room and not even allowed a 2 pm extension as a preferred IHG Dimond Elite customer that I requested to allow time for a new room to become available and save the hassle of doing a check out and check in that same day under my new reservation

There was a complete disrespectful attitude by Leslie as she indicated she had enough talking with me and that she would call the police to kick me out of the room.

Called 800 number IHG guests services, explained the situation and certainly a much more customer oriented service but at the end they were not able to help me as they had to circle back with the hotel front desk (Leslie I would assume as hotel manager was not available)

While this was happening other staff / cleaning ladies knocked on the door of room 221 and asked my family to leave the room while it was 12: 20 pm

Make story short, requested to cancel my reservation and ended up booking a new reservation at the Holiday Inn Express Suites at Mcallen which by far offered a complete different service and fully customer centric orientated allowing me to do an early check in at 1: 00 pm

If you look at the negative ratings of the Holiday Inn Express at Mission TX on the comments section, there is clearly a repetitive patern of rude / non customer service attitude towards guests by some specific people and I make a special remark of this because the person who did my check in the afternoon the day before at around 4 pm he was extremely helpful so I do not want to generalize on a terrible front desk service but only specific to Lesli.

The comfort of the bed/pillows was great, but I wasn't sure how well the room had been cleaned because I found a used bath towel hanging behind the bathroom door. Also, I'm glad that I always carry my own bath essentials because not once was the bath gel filled during my 2 day stay. As well as, only one toilet tissue (the ones on the roll itself) was available. My sister, who stayed with me, was puzzled that her bottom sheets were pulled back underneath the comforter (not extended?).
The Breakfast and the personnel there were awesome. However the male clerk when I checked in wasn't very welcoming and when I called him from my room and told him about the dirty towel left behind the door, all he said was, "oh, I'm sorry". I had to tell him to send someone to pick it up and bring extra towels. This was something that I was giving him ample time to suggest, but never did.

Was going to visit a friend staying there on my birthday and wasn't allowed to go in with my service dog. Even tho my friend was with corporate office on the phone which the front desk clerk ignored. The girl at the front desk was very rude and called the Mission PD and had my friend kicked out.

Your made to feel welcome with a polite hello and greeting from Texas.immediately you notice disinfectant area signs posted to wear mask rooms are fresh clean. Breakfast was hot great! Appreciate the markers on the floor for social distances. Thank you!

I called in to inquire about a price for a hotel for the night and the person who answered the phone at 10: 33pm on 03/18/2022 was EXTREMELY RUDE. When I called back to get the details of her name she REFUSED. I called four times and she continued to place me on hold to not give her name. I really enjoy staying at Holiday inn branches and it was very disappointing to not be able to book a room due to a lack of customer service. I really hope management can address this issue in order for future guest.
