Holiday Inn & Suites Beaumont-Plaza (I-10 & Walden), an IHG Hotel reviews
19 Used Holiday Inn for my wedding room block. They team helping me set everything was was AMAZING. Super helpful and very prompt with responding to emails.
Check-in was smooth. I was in the Presidential Suite and the first night the front room's A/C just could never really get cold. The bedroom area a/c worked perfect. There was a cold front that blew through so having a warm room the rest of the trip was not really an issue.
Sunday at 4am there was a fire alarm and the hotel we had to evacuate the building. Turns out that it was an employees kids pulling a prank (according to the front desk). Some of my friends and family that stayed there later told me they heard the same thing about the fire alarm and that in the middle of the night they would hear kids running and laughing up and down the halls. Not exactly ideal.
Great room and very comfortable bed! Would have given 5 stars, but it was stuffy in our room and we could t get the thermostat to turn down and cool the room off.
Amazing hotel, was told the hot tub was working when I reserved but it wasn’t when we checked in. Although, great place!
Beds were comfortable. In the morning I went in the bathroom, there were 2 roaches on the wall. The breakfast there was pretty good. Met Pernella, a sweet lady that helps you to know what to do. She was such a blessing to talk to and meet.
Spacious rooms, and nice lobby. Nothing special about the rooms, just large. Had 2 issues with my room and maintenance was quick to respond and resolve the issues!
This place is roach infested. I’m here with a group of about 100 and at least 50 of us have seen roaches in our rooms. Not just one or two, but several. I have killed at least 10. The hotel appears to be very nice and clean, the staff is very friendly. The food is mediocre, However, you can tell that they serve leftovers.
Food was deliciousTables, tableclothes, eating utensils, condiments and cloth napkins and chairs already set up so it made the venue easy to decorate. We had a wonderful birthday party for my loving niece.
Holiday Inn is the place to go the employees make you feel welcome and right at home don't have to wear about anything if you have your pets with you
Credit card stolen and still being charged a month later! They keep charging me 25.00 to steal my money. On top of that the suite is a box like a jail cell that echoes terribly. Bed is hard, can't even leave you a complimentary bottle of water after spending 200 bucks on a room, barely any TV channels. Employees, dozens, sitting around all over the place doing nothing but staring at you, yet when I called they couldn't answer basic questions like tell me if they served breakfast as I listened to other employees laughing in the background. I asked the guy on the phone if he could ask others and he said they wouldn't know either and to call back in the morning. The guy was working on August 26th at around 8pm. This is the worst place we have ever stayed. Too many useless employees. Everything just felt unclean and dirty. Couch in rooms was hard as a rock like sitting on plywood but the worst were the people working and them stealing my credit card info. We pass through here monthly and will NEVER be back. Our money will go to a hotel that treats it's customers in a more professional manner.
The look when you come in the hotel is fantabulous. The waterfall is soothing. The rooms are spacious enough for the purpose, The colorful lighting, don’t forget the complimentary breakfast Oh! My God! Everyone is the cafeteria is up to standard and ready to feed you. It’s not your regular hotel cafeteria. I wanna visit again.
The rooms are infested with bugs and roaches. Saw an entire floor being sprayed by maintenance but with store bought insecticide. The bugs are not affected.
The rooms are nice but not with bugs crawling everywhere.
First room we checked in to had a very unpleasant odor.returned to the front desk and without hesitation was given another room. The clerk behind the counter even escorted us to the new room to ensure everything was up to standard. Room and bed were great. I really appreciate the customer service.
First we haven't stayed in a hotel in over a year because of covid19! We were traveling home from a 2 week vacation visiting family, since we left home covid had an uptick so we were a bit nervous about having to stop somewhere, when we first pulled up to this hotel it looked expensive and didn't think we would be staying but pleasantly surprised it was in our budget! And because my husband is military vet they gave us free breakfast buffet so added surprise (Thank You) from the minute we walked in we felt welcomed and felt very clean and passed a security guard added to feeling safe! My granddaughter was so in awe of it all especially the waterfall feature! When we were taking luggage from car we were tempted to bring kids bike to room it was just strapped to back of car but decided to leave it and it was still there in the morning! Breakfast had wonderful people working in the restaurant making us feel really special! Definitely recommend this hotel!
. Our sheets had a strong odor. The restaurant only had one person working while also preparing drinks at the lounge and coordinating room service deliveries. My child did not eat free had to pay for dinner. The breakfast was enjoyable friendly staff for this.
Sadly, I used to consider this property one of the few nice and clean properties in the Beaumont area. I stayed there with my family the weekend of Aug, 6th and the room had german roaches in it. Sadly, we didn't notice them until late the last night we were there. We had not encountered roaches of any kind there before.
We will not be staying at that property again.
Traveling back from a fishing trip in Louisiana, hotel reservations made at this Holiday Inn. The front desk personnel were friendly and very efficient. The room was clean as well as the bathroom, the bed comfortable. The only hiccup was that the bathroom sink had a slow moving drain, but with one call to the front desk, that problem was taken care of. This looks to to be a good place to have a large meeting and or conference. It's a nice hotel.
Don't stay here often, and tho the issues have been addressed, seems every time I stay here maintenance is less than stellar. Have twice had A/C problems. Perhaps some upgrades are in order?
Friendly staff, comfortable, and clean. Needs updating, room keys stopped working frequently, and only 2 small elevators for 8 stories. The sign that said only 3 at a time was funny. Pretty sure I rode at least once with 10 co-occupants lol.
For the staff I’ll give 5 stars for the great job that they did putting up with 1 million baseball tournament kids. It’s pretty bad when the fire department has to show up.
This hotel was horrible, when we got to our first room the blower to the ac was not on, then we were moved to another room it was better but the air conditioning still wasn’t working. The food was cold. I watch a worker unplug an ice machine from each floor while when I asked the front desk for ice they charged me 6 dollars for ice.
