Last year was a very different with the COVID starting just as my mother in law got sick and had to go to a rehab facility for skilled nursing rehab, little did we know at that time that it was going to be turning into long term care for her. We knew that she would be needing 24 hour care that could only be provided there and then facing the financial stress that she didn't qualify for Medicaid. The nursing facility told us the Medicaid application had to be filled out within a week. At that time we decided to start looking for an attorney to help us with this very stressful process. When we met with Michael and he assured us that his law firm could handle this (because this is what they do) and have her approved for Medicaid I still had my doubts. We went ahead and hired the Holland Law Firm and it was the best decision we could have ever made. Applying for Medicaid was very stressful; at times I lost sleep, felt like pulling out my hair, it is something that I would never wish on anyone not even my worst enemy. Kathy and Martin were there to answer all of our questions to assure us that they would be taking care of everything that all we needed to do was send them the information that was needed, and I still had my doubts. They even called to check on me because they knew how stressed I was about everything. Anytime I had a question they were there they explained the process and reassured us that she would be approved, and she was!
