Holocaust Memorial Museum of San Antonio reviews
16A small place with relevant and well-organized information. Very friendly staff and attentive to providing information. A visit that is worth it to remember those things that we should never forget.
I went with my family and we had a blast! My youngest got his picture next to a life size figure of Adolf Eichmann and we even got to write with a replica of the ballpoint pen Anne Frank used. So neat! However they confiscated my phone when I opened the calculator, which I thought was kind of rude. 4/5 would recommend
Thank you so much for offering such a rich experience today. How important to educate young people on the reality of WW II History. Especially now. Museum was staffed by educated and friendly guides. I felt very welcomed. I highly recommend visiting, as it is very well layed out. They have many special pieces preserved, along with photos I have never seen. Although the Holocaust brings a heaviness of heart, I felt the visit today was a rather uplifting experience. Especially due to the guest speaker Dr. Rosenberg (pl excuse any mispelling). He gave a voice to his mother and father, even sharing a sideshow. He read personal testimonies of his family during the war. It was quite moving. I was blessed to hear him speak. I also had a chance to share my thoughts on History and my Faith in Yeshua with one of the volunteers who so graciously conversed with me. I appreciate that because it was my way of supporting Israel and the Jewish people in a way I could locally. Thank you! We love you! Israel is the apple of God's eye. Shalom
Very small free Museum, just about two rooms. Highly recommend checking out the Dallas Holocaust Museum if you have the chance.
This museum is important & everyone should make a point of visiting. We cannot forget what happened. It is hard to see the pictures & artifacts but that is the point. It should be hard to see what man is capable of doing to another.
My daughter is 13, almost 14, as has been very into WWII history and the Holocaust for many years so we knew we had to include this stop on trip to S. A. We knew going in that it was very small but it's still well worth the stop. There is a lot of information if you take your time and it is nicely laid out. They did a great job honoring the victims of this senseless crime against humanity and telling their stories. We spent about an hour here and it was just right.
If you want to know more about the Holocaust visit this small museum. Very impressive and emotional.
Very small area. Is basically two small rooms, but it's still very very neat to visit and experience
San Antonio.please take the time to visit.it's been here for 20 years.my son brought me here and im thankful.we can't afford to forget
It is a small museum, packed with so much information and history. We were so glad we were able to spend some of our afternoon here.
The docent led tour is recommended; it was professionally delivered. Warm welcome upon entry. I bought a significant amount of items in the gift shop so it took a fair bit of time to get me checked out but all in all, I'd say make your way down there immediately.
Great museum! The Holocaust part of the History lesson during our timeline like nearly centuries!
Museum is small but is good. The history of survivors of the Holocaust living in San Antonio was interesting.
The museum truly shows what people went through. Talks about the lives of important people as well.
Small museum packed with a lot of information.the exhibits are read at your own pace. Took teens here to get a better understanding for their school projects but became uninterested quickly.
It’s a donation based entry fee.
