Home Instead has been a blessing to our family. They work with us to ensure that our dad is cared for and that he receives consistent and competent care from his team. Dad truly loves his primary caregiver and is genuinely happy to see him. The office staff is easy to work with and they go out of their way to accommodate our needs. I would highly recommend their services.

Home Instead staff has excelled consistently in providing staff who were exemplars of care workers who were not only capable but dependable, committed and respectful even in the face of difficult clientele. Top-notch experience. My father needed assistance at home following his release from the hospital, and I was clueless as to where to begin. The hospital case worker recommended Home Instead, and I could not have been more pleased with how Home Instead and its representatives have helped our family during this stressful time. During our first call, Anastasia thoroughly and efficiently explained how the process works and the scope of services offered by Home Instead. We were also able to set up an assessment at the hospital the same day for services to begin just a few days later. Margarita, the aide assigned to provide services for my father, has been absolutely wonderful. She is professional, friendly, and proactive. Fortunately, my father is doing better and will no longer be requiring home services, but we will absolutely be using Home Instead if the need arises again, and I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone needing home services.

They have been wonderful. So very informative and patient as we were learning the ropes of how all of this works, and most gracious to us throughout. My dads caregiver, has become like family, My parents truly love her. When I know she is there with them, I am so very at peace, knowing they are in the best hands. I cant recommend them enough. The management, and the scheduling people are fantastic. So So kind and helpful. Truly have been such a blessing as I am juggling this hard time. I hands down give them 5+ stars.

Home Instead were life savers in making sure our uncle had eyes on him in the hospital while we were taking care of our aunt & trying to furnish a memory care room for him. The sitters reported on his condition, which was most helpful when we couldn't find a nurse to talk to at the hospital. Mostly, it was of great comfort to know that he wasn't alone & someone was there with him when we couldn't be.

Both of our caregivers are doing a lovely job! Mom and dad enjoy and rely on them both and they are both hard working, communicative, super people! We could not be happier and often pinch ourselves that we have found family like help to be with mom and dad! Thank you for having such a great team!

I had to leave town overnight and have someone stay with my father for two days. I never leave him, so I was anxious. Dad also had animals that he needed help caring for while I was gone. Everything went great! Everyone, including the dogs and cats, had no problems at all. Candis and Yvonne were our helpers and were very experienced. They were kind, lovely people. Everyone at the agency we had contact with was so helpful. It was such a burden off my shoulders to have them.

Engaged these folks to stay with my wife all night after major surgery, so that she would always have a familiar face when she woke up (or was awakened - which, as you no doubt know, happens regularly at night in a hospital), and have an advocate to make sure the nursing staff was paying her the attention she needed. This engagement was for 12 hours straight from 8 PM to 8 AM for two nights. The caring, patient staff member assigned came to our home to be introduced to my wife (and get her approval, of course) along with the owner. We were all very pleased with her selection. Everything went well, including some events which demonstrated the necessity of having a "sitter" for an overnight stay in a hospital (everybody is short-staffed these days, including nurses in hospitals). I could not be more pleased.

Even though we only ended up using their services for less time than planned, everyone was helpful, caring, and kind in assisting us through a very difficult and stressful transition. Mom loved her aids, and they even accompanied her in her emergency, and stayed by her side, when we couldn't be there. We were given grace, assurance, and support when we needed it most. I am grateful to have found them and will be happy to use them again, if we need it in the future.

This is a review of the Richmond Avenue location overall. Firstly, the administrative staff is wonderful. They all try their best to ensure that the client is satisfied and cared for. Having said that, one has to realize that getting the right team in place for the client is a process. We went through quite a few caregivers before we found the right fit for our mother. Sometimes the issue was personality, sometimes work ethic, sometimes lack of confidence in a caregiver’s strength. There are so many reasons why a client doesn’t click with a caregiver, but Home Instead never made us feel like we were being difficult or that we were imposing on them. Audrey, who handles the staffing, always graciously accommodated our requests until we found the right combination of caregivers. Secondly, we’d like to acknowledge a special caregiver: Miss Pat. Miss Pat is hard-working, dependable, and most importantly, she is kind and compassionate. She does everything that’s asked of her with a smile and to our mother’s exacting standards. She gives our mother such peace when she’s there, and for that, we can never thank her enough.

The best and most respectful experience I have had! These people care and treat our loved ones with upmost respect. I would use them anyday

When I contacted Home Instead I wanted
to find caretakers who were not constantly on their phones or spending hours watching tv. I was immediately impressed with their prompt response to my call and that was quickly followed by how organized everything was. My life was chaotic and hectic and the calm, positive sensible plan Abrham
presented settled all that. In every other agency we could only function in their system. With Home Instead we functioned
within a problem solving system that greatly reduced the chaos in my life. The staff at Home Instead
are incredibly kind, gentle and prepared. Each patient's
situation is evaluated and April makes certain
the care taker knows what to do and how to do it correctly. They are
constantly teaching the staff and it is much more nursing care than
just 'sitting'. The planning, preparing and supervision make all the difference in the world.especially when
it's under the directiob of a compassionate NASA engineer. And if that is not enough what
ever is concerning you is a very simple, immediately answered phone call away. Sadly, the day I found that to be true was the day my husband was takento the Emergency Room. The assisted living people called the ambulance and the care taker went with him and did not leave him. I received the call from AL and drove to the ER knowing that, as sick as he was his chances were not good. When I got there I could not be with him and that set me off, because I knew time
was precious. I couldn't talk and being a very private person did'nt want to fall apart in front of everyone. I went
into a room to call Home Instead. Immediately the phone was answered and no questions, explanations,
it was taken care of immediately. I cannot say enough about how
helpful, kind and professional Home Instead is. Your life will be better and your loved one's care will be
better.

Home Instead has provided the Highest Level of Care for my Mom. Their caregivers have become part of the Family and we gladly welcome them into our home.

We’ve worked with HomeInstead for 4 years and this franchise for the past 2. My mom’s caregiver is the best. She treats my mom with respect and so helpful around the house. Honestly she’s like family now. She takes time to talk to my mom about life, tv shows and other things. The office is also very helpful as my schedule can change and they are great about finding coverage at the last minute. Thank you all!

We love Noreen. I wish we could have her with mom all the time. She is so sweet and gentle.   She even took the time to get mom's room organized.   For the first time, in a long time, my mom even ate an entire plate of chicken salad and crackers. I wanted to cry because I was so grateful to see the progress.

You guys really saved me yesterday and I am so thankful for that.

Home Instead provides my mom who has Altzeimer's with day and now, some night time care. They communicate and work with me to find the best care giver fit for my mom. Knowing they will treat her with dignity, respect and as much care as I give her is very important to me. I can leave the house and/or sleep at night knowing my mom is well taken care of.
