Excellent title company! We’ve used Homeland twice once for buying and once for selling. They’ve been a pleasure to deal with both times.

Poor experience! We purchased a house in Feb 2022. One month later we found out that there were undisclosed back taxes for 2019 and 2020. After immediately called the title office they said they knew about the unpaid taxes but forgot to collect them at closing. We were assured it would be taken care of. It is now August 2022 and it is still not taken care of and there is a tax lien on the property. Beware!

One thing after another after another. I’ve had a number of issues while the communication is sub-par. They haven’t caused all the issues (there are other parties involved that have screwed a couple things up too) but they keep giving me dates that are so incorrect. If they say tomorrow, give it 5 business days, at least. Will definitely edit the review if my experience changes.

Homeland Title is the absolute best place to close on your home! The facilities are gorgeous. The staff is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! Everytime we come in we are greeted with a smile! There have been no errors in the paperwork and they make signing easy! They also give title insurance to insure you get what your paying for. If you have a choice you should chose Homeland Title for all your real-estate purchases or sales!

AVOID. Seller agent elected this title "broker". It is a broker and does not disclose the underwriter. After many attempts to get the underlying documentation on an easement - I was finally given the answer "I’m sure this house gets electricity somehow. Therefore, I don’t believe we can remove this. " It was baffling and frustrating.
