Love this place, only nursing home I have walked in that did not smell like a nursing homw my hats off to the staff. Very nice and friendly as well

I'm from NJ and have several friends that live in nursing homes. Homestead Nursing and Rehabilitation is the only place I have visited that has a feeling of home. The staff is incredibly professional, but are also friendly and accessible to the residents. We came on an exciting day where they took interested residents to the zoo. The activities director is friendly with the residents. This home seems like a safe, comfy home for family to find the care they need. I'm happy to see her thriving and I love the calm setting to rest in. The other residents were also content, this is another excellent thing to see.

Staff is rude, I'm working on getting my family member moved to a different facility. I feel like the facility feels like a jail more than a home. My grandma is okay with it because she is closer to family, but overall I am so sad that she is there.

Hello all. I am the new administrator at Homestead Nursing and Rehab of Baird. I have worked at many nursing homes in the last 10 years but this building is the best I have ever worked at! The staff has been there in for years and truly care about our patients. I saw elder abuse in another nursing home before so I decided I wanted to be an administrator to be able to stop those people myself. My DON is the best nurse I have ever worked with and we very much enjoy our jobs and take care of our patients to the very best of our ability. They are our family and we love them so. If you have a loved one who needs 24 hour a day nursing service, please consider us!
