Homewood Suites by Hilton Lackland AFB/SeaWorld, TX

Pros:
close to seaworld
close to shopping like heb, target, lowe's

Cons:
light bulbs were broken
furnitures are very old and worn out
kitchen cabinet handle missing
cracks on the walls
noise from next doors
too crowded during breakfast, not enough tables during peak hours

It’s an excellent place to be at. I will always choose it for my future stays in San Antonio.

Loved the location as well as yhe the hotel, elements of home, what more could you ask for.

Esme and Randee were absolutely amazing and have outstanding customer service. These two went way above what was expected of them. Expedia screwed up my reservation severely, they both saved the day by talking to the people at Expedia and making my reservation right. They held on the phone with Expedia for quite awhile and still managed to wait on other guests. If you take anything away from this do NOT use Expedia.

Staff was excellent. Two things of note to prevent 5 stars. The room had a slightly musty smell and the furniture was quite shopworn for a Hilton brand. On the plus side- breakfast was excellent

Great staff made up for worn around the edges rooms. Needs faster in room internet for those of us who video conference when travelling.

I was so impressed with the staff here to help me make my daughter's 11th Birthday great! This is going to be my go to Suite for sure now! They were on top of it since day one of booking my stay. They helped me get a crib for our sons, extra towels and blankets! Also partnered with me to make sure Uber Eats delivered my daughter's cake to the front to be kept while we were at Sea World. The place was so clean! Also the breakfast in the morning was phenomenal! Everything was well stocked, coffee, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, breads, even a waffle area to make. Fruit, cereal and yogurt along with juice! If you are trying to find a place near Sea World this is the place to stay. The drive isn't long, on the way back there's fast food places that are still open to grab to take back; or you can buy different things in their shop to eat. You would not regret getting this Suite! They even have a pool area outside!

I felt dissatisfaction and that I paid more than what I got.

The good: place is greatly located, close to the theme parks and you have other restaurants close by. The staff was also friendly and were trying to make our stay a pleasant one.

The bad: poorly kept. The bathrooms and rooms look like they are falling apart. Literally! One light fixture in the bathroom fell at night, by itself and broke on the ground while we were sleeping. It startled us, and made us call front desk to have it cleaned, so that we could actually use the bathroom without stepping on broken plastic/glass. On our other room (staying with family) the refrigerator door was broken, literally dangling and facing to the floor. Front desk acknowledged it, but could not change it. Overall, the place looks like it's been with little to no maintenance for a while. For the price of room per night, and to carry the name "Hilton" we expected more.

Admin gave us a credit. Still, not enough with what we paid and what we got as consumers.

Do not stay here. It is not sanitary. We went 2 days without our room cleaned. Manager did nothing, she didn’t even give us the Hilton guarantee no discount at all. Basically stated 2 different housekeepers wrote down they did clean your room, but yet I called corporate when she did nothing but call me a lair and the executive housekeeper had to bring us towels and coffee packets at 9: 30 pm to give us the bare minimum. The pool isn’t even clean, my husband had to scoop out leaves and bugs at noon so we could swim although chlorine was so stiff it bleached our suits! Breakfast was a joke, runny eggs 2 days and rubbery omelette like eggs the next. Husbands stomach hurt all day after eating the breakfast. When we checked in the housekeeping staff kindly left a half used bottle of lotion on the counter! By far the worse hotel experience in 51 years. Starts with the incompetent manager and it just rolls down hill from there. Dominique at the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful, not to mention she was violating hipa by discussing staffs health to guests. Btw we paid in full ahead of time and will never make that mistake again! On a brighter note 54 street and bubba 33 are great restaurants with wonderful customer service and delicious food! Good luck!

This hotel staff does not check the eyes of people in and out allowing thieves to enter the hotel area to smash car windows for their one benefit be careful

Best service I have had from a hotel in a while. Friendly staff, clean facility, very family oriented! I think it should be considered a 5 star hotel really! Definitely glad I chose this place.recommend to anyone traveling with family! I will definitely be coming back.oh and the breakfast served was completely amazing… prepared by staff who really care about what they are serving ppl:)

The staff was so nice and attentive from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The room was great also, with lots of space for 3 adults and 2 kids. Breakfast was delicious and great quality. This is going to be our go to hotel for any SeaWorld trip from now on.
