It smelled really bad in the hotel especially on the second floor was not a pleasant smell at all and the rooms were kind of old to be honest

Rooms were very clean! Safe surroundings. Jewels, the sweet lady working the breakfast area, was a true sweetheart! Very helpful and very friendly! Loved her enthusiasm!

The staff at the property is fantastic. They are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great, and the location was perfect for quick access to stores and restaurants. Also, a HUGE bonus: there is no fee for the washer and dryer. With that being said, the hotel needs a bit of TLC. The room was very spacious but a bit worn. The door does not fully close when entering and exiting the room. You have to make sure to push or pull it shut. So, if you get room 114, be mindful of this to ensure you are safe! Overall, though, I enjoyed the stay!

Well I was staying here about 6 years ago and it was nice and then I came back in March of 2023 and then I woke up that morning and then My car windows were broken the back seat and the Driver but it was a rental car the car was a Red Dodge and then but I was not mine only it was 15 other cars if you are coming here please do not leave anything in the car that is all I say.

Hilton should be ashamed of the condition of the rooms they are allowing to be rented at properties in the Lubbock area, specifically at this Homewood Suites. I have stayed at 8 different Hilton properties in 2023; this one had by far the worst room ever! Based on my conversations with several people who frequently stay in Lubbock, many Hilton properties in the city are well below typical Hilton standards. This one took the cake, in a bad way.

The common areas of and the services offered at this extended stay property, such as the lobby and the morning breakfast, were fairly good and based on just that, one could cut the property some slack, such as missing covers on the elevator arrow lights.

However, our 4th floor room (top floor) was terrible! We arrived late so we just needed a place to sleep, but the room was downright dirty and dangerous. I can understand as an older property some issues like the damaged tub in the bathroom. But the exposed screw on the closet door? Housekeeping that forgets to pull the cover over the box spring on one of the two beds? A ceiling fan that hasn't been cleaned in what looks like years? Only 2 bath towels for 2 beds with a reservation clearly including 3+ people? I had to go down to front desk to get more towels. The list could go on, but this is enough to get the point across that for accommodations that were being rented at over $200/night, this was worse than economy lodging.

I just do not think the property owners care as I have heard they may own several Hilton properties in the city and the brand seems to be cutting them slack, but at the risk of destroying brand equity? I am less likely to trust the Hilton brand going forward. I already canceled an upcoming stay at Hilton property this fall due to this specific experience.

I would recommend staying away from this property until they undergo some type of renovation, or at least clean their rooms.

I will not stay here again. This hotel is in desperate need of repair and maintenance. The rooms were dingy and walls all banged up, nothing worked in the room, the trim around the carpet was all coming up, light bulbs not working, iron broken, the linens were all dingy and stained.including a very clear blood stain on the comforter of the bed. None of the 3 TV's in our room worked. Not what I would expect from a Hilton property.

Stayed here 8-5-23, worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I’m a Hilton member. Checked in late because I was watching my granddaughter play soccer allllll day in the hot Sun (104) so naturally you want AC in your room. NOPE, AC was out so the front desk brought me fans. Really Hilton!? Next morning I go to take a shower and they do not supply any basic hygiene supplies. The Hotel was in total disarray. My son stayed in another room with his family and he had a broken bed.
If I wasn’t so exhausted from the day I would have left and found a different place to stay.
This stay is making me rethink about using Hilton Hotels ever again.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would.

Do not stay at this hotel. It is dirty, the hotel smells horrible from the moment you walk in. The hallway and the rooms smell terrible. The elevator is falling apart.

Our room looked like it had not been dusted in months. There was duct tape on all the windows. The AC vent was falling off the wall. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling. The dresser drawers remain open. The TV's in the room did not work.

We informed the front desk about our concerns and he did not care. We left a message asking for a manager to contact us and we have still not been contacted.

Worst hotel experience! Housekeeping stole from my room! I have tried to get ahold of a manager for 2 weeks and have not gotten a reply! I have been a Diamond member for the past 4 years and this is how theu trest loyalty! Do yourself a favor and choose another hotel!

The property has long-term maintenance problems that have affected, Tv, Wi Fi, air conditioning, and room maintenance. I feel for the staff that has do deal with dissatisfied guests on a regular basis. Shame on HILTON for letting their property get to this condition.

This seems like a great space. Unfortunately they were tricked into host a book banning talk. I called to make sure they were aware of the content of this talk, and whether their policy was in support of banning books. The front desk person wouldn't answer about Hilton policies and hung up the phone.

Science Spectrum has already cancelled this speaker as they cannot, as an entity, endorse these views. I can't wait to change my review to 5 stars if this location decides to do the same.

EDIT: Great job Hilton. So proud and I can't wait to book a staycation with y'all.

Friendly staff and nice accommodations. The breakfast is always a delight. They have boiled and scrambled eggs as well. I also enjoy a hot, stout tea for breakfast, so their English Grey or Constant Comment does not disappoint.

From the moment we called to book this room, we had exceptional service. Everyone is so kind and helpful and our stay was no different. Great service comfortable room. Late check out. If we come back we will stay here again.

The hotel is out dated. The staff needs training (general manager and front desk) on greeting customers. I stood at the desk for 10 min while the staff answered inbound calls and spoke with one another in the back office.

These rooms need a LOT of work, they are very old and dilapidated. However, the customer service here is absolutely wonderful. All of the staff went out of their way to make us feel as comfortable as possible. I was informed that this hotel is going to be renovated next year.

The rooms were cleaned well but the couch bed was a little uncomfortable and made it a little hard to sleep on it for me personally the blankets were small and kept not having any blanket durong the night and the rooms were very small but overall would sleep in a bigger bed with better mattress1blankets

Hotel is in a great location. We came in for a graduation at Texas Tech for the weekend. I rated the rooms with 3 stars, as the carpets need a deep cleaning.

Chelsea was so accommodating and warm. She deserves recognition, promotion and raise. She is wonderful and the face of your hotel.

Staff cares about guests, they were helpful friendly throughout our stay. Our room was an awesome find, small kitchen and sitting area and separated bedroom. We haven't been more comfortable while away from home, thanks!
