Homewood Suites by Hilton San Antonio North

Hotel has no cameras outside. My truck was broken into (handle ripped off) 12/26. Hotel bears no responsibility because there are signs. Unsafe location - do not stay here.

It should be a six star hotel. Front desk personnel outstanding. Breakfast amazing Wednesday evening have dinner awesome. Room s are clean very well. When is San Antonio Texas make sure you stay here you'll love it.

I am a Hilton Diamond member, so obviously I like this chain & stay a lot due to work travel. I had a quick one night stay here. Everything was fine except one MAJOR thing - when I reached into shelf to get a roll of toilet paper I found a USED SYRINGE on the shelf in front of the roll. It was wrapped in a paper towel. As I checked out, I gave it to the front desk and explained where I found it (did not want them to think I was the one who left it there). The young lady at the desk was shocked & apologized. I know this was not seen by housekeeping or it would have been removed & I understand how things can get missed but come on.no call from management to apologize? No points provided? Surely decent management would do some follow-up!

All good except that housekeeping is on demand and no room service.but Wednesdays are party nights, arranged by the hotel manager.

This has been the worst Homewood Suites we've stayed at and we always book with Hilton when a location is near by. At breakfast Dishes were dirty. At our room we had some type of body fluids on the walls, dirty sheets, carpet filthy blood and markup on our sheets. When housekeeping showed up we had to beg them to clean it. They looked at it said it was nothing. We have pictures.they would not empty trash daily, nor give us fresh towels, not even make beds. The manager stated she would make it right and have house keeping do a deep clean but we were not allowed in the room. So we left that morning and didn't come back till late evening. Nothing was done!

Our shower made a horrible banging noise maintenance changed the shower head the second day. Saying it would fix the problem when it did not change a thing.

We had to empty our own trash each night and go down daily to get fresh towels daily.

We checked-in Wednesday and check out Sunday.
A/C system is loud in the room. Lavatory and Kitchen sinks only had hot water. Much more than just this but at this point I think it's clear this location has many problems with cleanliness.

Not the worst or best - would definitely book again.
4/5 Breakfast: The usual sausage, egg, potatoes, waffle, cereal, muffin, and bagel.
5/5 AC: AC was put on blast at a low 68 throughout my stay. Kept me cold and comfortable in this TX summer.
4/5 Queen Bedroom: The clean room was slightly smaller than I imagined. The bed was comfortable (leaned more soft than firm) : the pillows were fluffy. I wasn't able to hear any of my neighbors. There were plenty of towels. The water was hot and had decent pressure. There was a fully stocked kitchen (electric oven, fridge, microwave) with silverware in the cabinets. The room thankfully didn't wreak of smoke/weed. However, the furniture is a bit outdated and the room was stuffy.

4/5 Parking: Parking is free but it's sort of limited. We had to park on the side. It seemed a bit sketchy but our car wasn't broken into.

Nice place, just on the out skirts of the hustle and bustle of a Big Town very nice.thank youal.

The room was uncomfortably warm when we arrived. The cieling fan was noisy. We said there'd be 4 of us and there were only 3 towels.

This has become me and husband favorite place to stay when in town. There is room to park our 18 wheeler and right upon check-in the service is top of the line! Everything is very clean and nice. All the staff was Amazing but Adam really went out of his way to make our stay comfortable! Adam is definitely a great asset to the company and a terrific person to be at the front desk. I give this place 10 STARS!

Some of the staff is not courteous. They are very strict about check in time. They only clean rooms every 4th day for some reason.

The staff was great. There is a breakfast that is serviced in the morning and a snack that is service just before dinner time. Parking is alittle tight but there is a big church parking lot next door. Within walking distance to IHop. Room a big with plenty of space. Pillows could be better. Shower area is good.

My second time staying at this hotel. The staff is fantastic, with large rooms, reasonable prices, and a decent breakfast. Every Wed they offer evening snacks and wine at no cost. The gym is very small. The appliances are dated. Both refrigerator and AC unit are loud. The towels and pillows had exceeded the lifetime replacement. Lots of improvements are required.

Location great! Rooms were not well supplied. Had to request toilet paper. Limited towels. Breakfast was good. However breakfast was picked up by 9: 45.

Great location and meets all expectations for a Homewood. Hotel is clean and staff is very friendly. Rooms are a little dated but not a big deal. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area again and need an extended stay. Ideal location for anything on the northern side of the city.

Are air conditioning went out in our house and they were very accommodating being that we had to bring our dog with us. They had immediate availability. They also were super friendly when we checked in. Unfortunately slept in too long to partake in the free breakfast.

This has been one of our worse experience every with Hilton. I have never been to a Hilton location that doesn’t do room service. We request our bed to be made and fresh towels and got denied. The receptionist Adam was very rude when we requested fresh towels. We tried talking to the manager on duty Jeff Vienne, he was out of town and said there wasn’t anything he could do. We will no longer stay at Hilton and will no longer be a Hilton Member.

Family of 5 stayed in this hotel room and we had plenty of space. Two queen beds and a pull out couch. Kind of an apartment feel to it. The room was a little out dated but it was comfy and clean and had great amenities. I rated high because of the service we received. I forgot the name of the gentleman who received us that day but he was awesome.

Around the 11 o’clock hour we had housekeeping knocking at our door whilst we had the do not disturb sign on the door. 12: 08 we had the manager knocking on our door she was extremely rude. Kept pointing at her watch saying check out is at noon and I said OK we are getting ready to leave but the night before we requested for late check out. Minutes later we got a phone call from the front desk saying we need to get out. As we go to leave the girl who was the daughters manager was giving us the death stare asking us why aren’t we out by noon. So unprofessional Iv never experienced this at a hotel ever

This was an expensive hotel for the condition of the 2 rooms we had. Cabinet drawers in bathroom had hair and dried toothpaste in them, sink was slow draining, dishwasher was not secured to cabinet so it would fall forward when door was opened plus no dish soap or powder. Black mold present in bathroom ceiling in 2nd room. Pool needed cleaning and the water was very cloudy. Breakfast was good and the location was convenient. Employees Debbie and Adam were professional and helpful. Would like to see this hotel refurbished and brought up to date.
