Hondo Inn Hotel

Easy to find. The Staff were very nice & hopeful. Room big was very clean. Really enjoyed our stay.

This was a nice hotel with a good, hot breakfast. The cleaning supplies in the room smelled overwhelmingly strong, but that's better than the alternative!

Rooms were pretty big, very clean & nice. Beds were comfortable (big pillows). Really enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Hondo Inn. The room was very clean and the AC worked well. It was roomy and comfortable. The pillows were quite comfortable as well. The breakfast had everything you could possibly want and was delicious. We will happily stay here again if we come to Hondo. ️

Stayed there last week. Hotel is in good condition except for a few places that need attention like hallway carpets need cleaning they look dirty also elevator looks like it needs new flooring done the right way. Now our room looked decent except for some places within the bathroom that are poorly maintained which make me think they need better maintenance with attention to detail. We had cold warm breakfast not hot! As well we had potatoes, sausage links, biscuits, and gravy no eggs since she said they had not delivered any eggs.now after eating that and my stomach wasn't feeling good all day long. I have to blame it on the gravy!?

We used to stay here a lot when we had a small place in Hondo with cattle and horses! And I this place was amazing, very clean! And absolutely gorgeous! There’s also a pool! It’s very well kept and a good price! We haven’t stayed here in a while but very recommended if you need a place to stay in Hondo tx!

Dirty rooms had mold in AC vents had to clean ourselves and they didn’t give us a room key said we had to find a maid each time we wanted entry to our own rooms or leave the latch to hold door open! (Risk things getting stolen) It smelled of mildew and smoke even though it was supposed to a smoke free room…. Then they wouldn’t give me a refund we I wanted to find a better hotel they said I had to go thru the booking agency for which in turn told me I had to go thru them…total disaster! Worse place I’ve ever tried staying at!

Nicole was very helpful and pleasant when I called and booked my room. Rhe second staff member was helpful as well when I arrived one day early.

Beautiful room. Fantastic shower. Awesome bed. Extremely clean and tidy. Fantastic tv. Super cold ac. Slept like a brick. Close to everything. Thanks to all the staff at the Hondo Best Western.

The service is far as what you need for your room is pretty good. I was there for a few days a while back. They have cameras posted all throughout this hotel. They had a construction crew that was staying at the hotel for a while. Large trucks parked in tiny parking spots. Some parked out in the grass. Park my vehicle in a spot that I thought would be a safe location. Come out one morning and see that someone next to me had backed into my car and they were absolute cowards and didn't leave a note or try and contact me. I believe I asked Rose who was there at that time in the afternoon. Without even looking at told me no we can't pull up anything. Why have cameras throughout the whole place and not have them serviced or operating. Now the only good thing as far as the staff the overnight lady was excellent. As a warning to people that come there take pictures of cars next to you when you get in for the night. Because I certainly don't care about their guests to make sure their equipment is running properly or I was being lied to and just too lazy to pull up video.

Room was clean, comfy bed and decent breakfast. Total turn off was the filthy hallways and elevator. Front desk clerk was grumpy. For $146 a night? Not worth it.

Our room should have been ready Sunday. We got in Monday. Beds had no bedding, floor still had trash from before. But I will note that they were making improvements in other rooms and since we were coming in later than planned just ad not gotten to room. Staff was pleasant.

The shower does not work & can't plug tub for a bath and bed is sagging in the middle. Drove 400 miles & not happy

I was able to check a few minutes early.
Room was clean, extra blanket provided and snacks and drinks available even after hours
Staff was friendly and professional.
The best thing, non- smoking in the whole hotel.

Paid $150 a night and the first room had a shattered mirror and missing blinds for the window. The floors in the hallways look like they had never been vacuumed. The second room had hair in the bed and shower plus the shower was slow to drain so you stood in 4 inches of water while bathing. Paint missing in the bathroom above the shower and when they transferred me to the second room they only did it for one night so i was locked out and had to go back to desk to get the key updated. Every time I saw the staff they were sitting down. I would not recommend this place for more then $50. Plus cops were there 1st night when we got in. Group of guys drinking and playing load music in there truck by front entrance. Definitely not what you would expect for $150 a night.

Good price. Friendly helpful staff. Food was good for breakfast. Rooms clean and spacious.

Normally a great place to stay but this morning there was no regular coffee just decaf which is not coffee. The manager's response was none wants to sell them coffee. Now really, Walmart just down the street sells coffee and coffee pots. You folks need to improvise.

Front desk workers and housekeeping are all very nice and friendly! Won't stay anywhere but Best Western! Very very clean!

Worst experience ever, front counter person was rude! Manager was no help at all. Rooms were dirty!

Card programmers wasn't working, so they literally had to let you in your room each time you went out, items from the last guests was left in the mini fridge.
