Honey Bee Rescue, Dallas TX

Called to get a new colony relocated from a ball field. Was told they would do this for the bees no fee. Tech. Got here told me it would be $400 and bees would not make it. When I called they told me they could locate the bees and let them do what bees do. They lied so not use.

I had an appointment for an estimate. It was raining that day so I wasn’t sure if they would come. I expected they would call with updates. I waited during my appointment time and some time after, and no show. I didn’t hear from them before or during that time that they were going to cancel. My appointment time was 4-5pm. They called me at 6pm to say they weren’t coming and that their guy was finishing up at another appointment. Said I would get a call that night with an estimate based off pictures I sent. Never got a call and never got a call to reschedule. They wasted over an hour of my time waiting for them to come. I found Bee Safe Services that gave me a very inexpensive estimate over the phone and came out the next day.

This was a horrible experience. Anna who answered the phone totally lied about the 250 trip charge being put toward the repair. When I called her back after not getting the services done because of the expense she lied again and said she told me that if it was over a certain amount (1000.00) then it would be put towards the bill. LIE! I would have gone someplace else. I already knew it wasn’t a thousand dollar repair. I told her that someone came out the year before to clean it and said it was in good shape so whatever the repair was it would be small. So again she LIED! Stay away from this place.

Jeff from HBR came out on the initial visit and did amazingly explaining our bee infestation and how they would solve the problem. And that they did! HBR safely removed honey bees from the roof over my son's room on the second floor. Other vendors wanted to come through our clay roof, which would have been time-consuming and expensive. HBR did the more straightforward routine of going through the ceiling in my son's room with less damage, less cleanup, and easy repairs. They explained everything they were going to do. They kept me updated with pictures and explanations along the way. Great job!

I had just bought this home and realized we had bees coming in from the outside. I called many places, and this company was most informative and fair priced. Jeff did the general inspection and did a great job on informing me of the process, he also got me someone in quickly to do the removal of the bees. Dustin did a great job at removing the bees and was very kind. Highly recommend this company!

Had a big nest of yellow jackets in flower bed. So glad I got your help. Dustin was on time, suited up and dispatched the nest in a jiffy. So glad I didn't attempt myself, as I swell up with a single honey bee sting. Those things were swarming all around him. I was watching safely from inside the house. Great job Dustin!

Great team. Friendly, professional, job well done. While I hope to never need them again, in the event I have bee removal needs I’d give them another call!

Victor was awesome, he worked hard in the heat to relocate the bees that had started building under our roof. He communicated with photos and couldn’t have been nicer. Job well done and the bees were saved.

We opted to have the hive moved instead of extermination. They removed a portion of our roof, removed and rehomed the bees to a bee box, cleaned out the honey mess and repaired the roof back to its original shape! They came out very quickly, expertly removed the hive, were courteous and very professionally!

Today, power-washing wall where honey residue had caused discoloration. Tyler kindly power-washed my grubby front steps, too! Exceptionally great service, including very polite people who schedule service and let you know when the technician will arrive.

The tech sent was super. Professional knowledgeable and very nice. Best home service ever.
