Whenever I touchdown in San Antonio from Arkansas I hit her up for my plates. Went last Thursday and went back on Sunday. Food is always on point and service and atmosphere

I perform there.and I am very selective.best all around experience to date.add one to each category.

Small hole in the wall restaurant and bar with one pool table. The atmosphere was chill and easy-going. Great place to have a cold one and a bite to eat with friends or family. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The food, amazing! I ordered the smothered turkey wings, collard greens, dressing, and Mac. Everything was hot, fresh and really delicious; perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I'll definitely be a returning customer. Nom nom!

It's a hole in the wall basically. A bar / food truck. Just being honest. We arrived at 1: 30 pm. I ordered the chicken wings and my husband ordered the oxtail plate. We waited about 1h 15 mins. Just to be told they were out of chicken. And the plate that my husband had, well let's just say. The oxtail were not very good. He got the last plate of oxtail. That could be the reason. Small oxtails not appealing. Mostly fat. Overcooked or just not cooked properly. My husband is a chef. He didn't finish the plate. And I got refunded for the chicken wings. Service actually sucked. Not the servers, but the process they had for taking orders. Might try again. But most likely won't. FyI it was my husband's first time trying an oxtail.

I had a a horrific experience. Went to pick my husband up and She the chairs at me and threw her propane jug at my brand 2022 Car, put a knife to my throat, then knifed my car. AL because I confronted her via text about having my husband of 21ys take her to the Doctor appointment when all was supposed transpire was him to go pick up his check that she would not pay the night before.

Food was great. Service was great. Just didn't understand why I got one pork chop for 15 dollars.

This place is sweeter honey and stronger than vodka. I'm from Cali, and I was introduced to this place by my good friend, goody, and her husband. When we were driving there, it seemed like we're just going through the backroads of Texas. I admit that when we got there, I was a bit skeptical about the place. I'm a true witness of what down-home soul food is all about. It starts with a friendly atmosphere mixed with smiling faces, and as I look at the menu, that's when the house of love comes full circle. When I ordered my food, I couldn't talk anymore. I was so impressed by the serving that I had to lick my fingers. I guarantee that whatever you order, you'll be licking your fingers, too. Thanks honey ya'll are the absolute best.

Stewed turkey leg, cornbread stuffing, Mac and cheese, smothered potatoes. AMAZING! Everything about this meal was perfect! Thank you Ms.honey! Will be coming back for more

Honeys Kitchen was absolutely amazing! We used catering services and were so impressed with the service, quality of food, and professionalism. We were served mac and cheese, chicken quarters, rolls, and green beans with everybody wanting more. I want to personally thank the owner, Ms. Honey, for a tremendous job well done during our family's time of need. We coudn't have asked for better!

Went for a friends birthday party, they did a good job of setting up her birthday theme. Small dance floor. Good size place for about 40-50 people get together.

Honey's got that old East side feel to it. You can't duplicate it. It has to be experienced. You got the Trail Ride groups there. Old & young Folk alike. Karaoke on Fridays, I believe on the first of the month. Call and double check that. Pool tables, Cards, you know that family reunion vibe. This place is for everyone. But intended for

Down home experience. Greeted upon entering the establishment with a friendly & professional staff. The food is just like what my "Big Mamma - Mother Dear - MawMaw - Gammie" use to cook. I look forward to dining in or picking up dinner weekly. Piping hot, seasoned to perfection, very tasty and delicious.

I searched low and high for soul food all day and finally someone answered & actually had oxtail available this was a 10/10! Everything was cooked fresh, very BLACK owned and such nice people! If you’re looking for something that taste like your grandma made it come here

I was at Honey's Kitchen last Sunday to watch the game and eat with my kids after their practice at Champions Sports Complex. My kids ordered the oxtail and the never ate at Honey's Kitchen but they wanted to if it was good. My kids 17 & 14 loved the oxtails so much they said Ms. Honey cooks like we were at her house. Lol. I had to share this with you because they are right.

The waitress MG is Fabolous, she has the service like you being waited on from your Mamas sister. Honey's Kitchen is I'm a league of her own. We'll be back plus the music and the food; what a winning combination.

Good food for the soul! I’m in love with this place. I’m definitely adding this to my weekly rotation. I also had the fish, oxtails and chicken wings. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!
