Hoopty Beach Car Rentals, South Padre Island TX

Both locations are closed and there are no indicators showing that they were closed. Wasted half an hour driving around trying to find either location.

Def a must if your in padre the kiddos and I had a blast site seeing and beach going in the Hoopty we rented the owners are so polite. Our trip def wouldn’t have been the same without this rental

This was an awesome experience. We road down to SPI and was able to rent this little buggy to go anywhere we wanted while visiting. The staff was a great help and very friendly. Definitely recommend Hoopty.

Cheyenne Was incredible from the moment I called. She made it easy to rent. Did everything by text message and met me at my resort so that I didn’t have to go to her to get the car. This is my new go to for fun cart rentals for the beach!

We rented a hoopty for a full day. My husband and kids absolutely loved it. It so much better than a golf cart because it’s a little more enclosed and we thought it be safer for our small children. It’s got Bluetooth for your music, and the look is so much cooler.

Had a great time driving up and down the beach. We had several thumbs while driving the beach car.

Excellent customer service, very friendly and the owners gave us great tips about the island. First time in South Padre and this car rental is the best experience by far super fun and comfortable. Will come back and rent with them again prices are very great and affordable.

We had a great time cruising the island with the top down. Driving on the beach was amazing! Toby and her husband were available and attentive. I would highly recommend and will definitely rent again next year!

Wow! What an experience this lil ride was Amazing, turned heads at every corner, people wanting pics of the car at the beach car show it was a hit! Blue tooth radio, comfortable seats, just the look and experience we were going for. It was 10 minutes total time from the time I called they were at the resort paperwork ready to go! 25 min from the phone call to the street!

So fun to cruise the island but so awesome if you need to go across to grocery store also! Took out to beach for a bit as well! These really are
the best choice for for car rental! Grand babies loved it! Oh and the customer service is on point!

We loved our Hoopty Rental buggy! Comfortable cars and they look beautiful! We were able to park and get around so easy. The buggies are very easy to operate and had a Bluetooth radio we were able to connect our phones and cruise around as if it was our own vehicle! Kids (8 & 4) thought they were so fun to ride around in easy to climb in and out of. We took ours out to the beach and it rode so smooth on the highway and beach both. The owners made renting a breeze and super friendly! We go to SPI every summer and 10/10 will rent again on our next trip! Thank y’all so much!
