Hot Wok Cafe, Little Elm TX

My husband & I had a very long Saturday and we ordered food for delivery! However, it was about 20 minutes until closing time and we were very surprised and super thankful that our order was taken! The driver, unfortunately, was stuck in traffic for almost 2 hours trying to deliver our food due to an accident right at the street he needed to turn down to get to our home! We are beyond grateful for the service provided! We received multiple updates via phone calls from the driver. He didn't have to deliver, but he did! Thank you so much sir! And the food, as usual, was delicious!

Ordered delivery. NEVER again. The only veggie in lo mein was a few pieces of cabbage. Eggrolls had a cinnamon taste them (weird ugh) and orange chicken SO DRY. Crab rangoons no filling. UGH bad, boring, almost gross! Chinese food. NEVER AGAIN.sorry fast delivery tho. Guess with no thought into preparation u can deliver hot dry food. Ugh

Didn’t feel well so I ordered dinner to make life easy. Ordered 2 chicken teriyaki stick orders and fried rice. Placing order was quick and easy and delivery guy super nice but the bag the food came in was soaked so bad I’m surprised the bottom didn’t fall out. And the chicken teriyaki sticks were horrible bland and no flavor that went straight in the trash and the Rice was dry as well. Will NOT be ordering from here again.

We have been going to Hot Wok for as long as we have lived in the area, and are always met with great service from Tina. Like many of the other reviews mentioned, the portions are large, and it's also fairly inexpensive as well. Takeout is available over the phone, which I personally recommend.

I ordered Lemon Chicken. Hubby ordered Double Cooked Pork. We also ordered Beef Lo Mein. Ordered appetizers. Shrimp & Egg Roll. Steamed Dumplings. Everything was great. Will be back.

Plate has a lot of good food. They just need to focus on the cleanliness. There is a weird smell in the place that needs attention

RUDE. NOT WORTH. I DIDNT EVEN GET A CHANCE TOMAKE AN ORDER. WORST SERVICE EVER. AND THE WOMAN SEEMED TO BE PROUD OF HER LOUSY SERVICE. LOOSE MONEY OVER YOUR LOUSY SERVICE. NOT SO SMART

Food was just perfect and excellent portion sizes! However the place could use a good refresh and cleaning.

They are hit and Miss. I started frequenting this place a year ago, one minute they are okay and the next it’s terrible. But for last night 12/18/22, we were served old food. My husband said it smelled when he came in, but throughout the night both him and I both had stomach aches. I think it’s ridiculous to serve a human bad food for a few dollars. I will never patronize this business again.

So I’ve been looking for a Chinese food restaurants who makes hot & sour the right way or the traditional way and this is the 3rd time I’ve been let down. I used to LOVE that soup but everyone’s gimping out on it. No carrots, no black seaweed, no celery hardly no tofu & now meat? I’ve never known hot & sour soup to have meat. Now instead of having a more gel consistency it’s greasy & runny and doesn’t taste anythingblike real hot & sour soup. Even buffets make it right what’s going on with that? And I opened my dumplings after driving 30 minutes o get home and there’s a huge black hair in it. I’m why is no one wearing hair nets? That’s just disappointing. The soup leaked all over & I handled it with care. I’ve just lost my appetite.

This is the BEST CHINESE FOOD SPOT IN THE DFW AREA! I always order the Combo Fried Rice and Crab Ragoons! This place has kept me and my family fed for going on 6 years, if you want GOOD food go here!

Listen, I'm gonna give them more credit because I've seen how they work and it isn't easy. The place is alright. The food though, is great, other than sometimes the dumplings may come a little burnt. To be honest if you really want something fast and affordable, this is the place to go. The customer service is excellent of course.
