Absolutely lovely hotel. For one of this quality, the prices are very fair. In addition to beautiful rooms/suites, the surrounding area is the most beautiful Austin has to offer. We’ve stayed in nearly all of the best hotels Austin has and Granduca is our favorite.

From a wedding photographer's perspective, Hotel Granduca is truly special. The reception space is just exploding with so much color, which we LOVE. The Spanish architecture adds such a unique element to your wedding day. Your guests are going to have their jaws drop when they arrive and leave with an experience that will be hard to top by any other wedding they attend in the future. Wow your friends, book your wedding day at the Hotel Granduca

The service personnel were amazing, the food was terrible, and I paid for the Romance Package that included a "special" menu.

Thank you Hotel Granduca for making my birthday weekend memorable. Your grounds are lovely, your staff is friendly and accommodating and the hotel is exquisite. We enjoyed the pool, the air conditioned patio and our room. My only complaint was not knowing the pool was under construction and the wine cooler in the room was not cool enough to keep food cold. Otherwise it was wonderful!

First class service, friendly staff and housekeeping is phenomenal. I just wish the pool stayed open later but that's just me. Would definitely stay again next trip to Austin

I stayed at Granduca on July 19,2022. I chose this hotel based on the fancy amenities that they advertise on all major travel websites. When I arrived, I found out that most of the amenities are closed due to massive construction both inside and outside of the hotel. I complained to front desk, and they claim that they do not control their own listing because it is done by a 3rd party. I used to work for on OTA so I know that this is a lie. Granduca, please stop engaging in false advertising and remove the photos and descriptions of all closed amenities until your construction is finished. Also, please stop adding the $25 "resort fee". You do not qualify for a resort this summer.

Nice, quiet, romantic stay! Yes the rooms are a bit outdated but I had the necessities I needed like microwave, fridge, tv (w/ Netflix). The views are great you can see the hills from a far! Hate that they were under construction during my stay.

People people people.my family and i have spent many a vacation in many exotic and lovely places. (not a flex or a brag) simply the truth.the genuine'ness' of all at the hotel is exemplary.being a fun, fat and generous tipper doesn't hurt either.so.how can i say? Did i enjoy the pool.sure, did i see the gym.sure (just to see it). Did i enjoy the food.ehhhh.passable.i'm more of a locals only sort of eater.the legit austin only burger spot, t perry, or something like that. (factually called p.terry.can u imagine how much tequila i drank at my cuzzo's wedding? , this is me sober) i counted.to my best recollection it was 13 drinks.which would almost polish off an entire bottle of tequila. (simple math states.a shot is 50 ml, and there are 750 ml in a full bottle of tequila.ala, 15 pours equals a bottle of tequila) not when this fatkoreandad is attending a wedding there isn't.where does this all lead? No where special.i can simply state.i don't sleep very well, so every 5 am ish, i creeped down to the front desk to 'shoot the sh! T' with the hotel staff.i remember all of the people as hazy apparitions.blame the tequila ;). The BEST AND MOST HONEST REASON why i am writing this review is.i was not able to shout out the bestest bestest bestest human.her name is some african name.her go by name is LuLu.i honestly can say, i want LuLu in every hotel i got to from now on.she is a saint and SO REAL and feels like that sort of neighborly warm, aunt and sister type.who would just guide us to the best breakfast to soak up all that alcohol.two spots resonate. Texas Honey Ham for the win, (a breakfast on a bun x 2) and Snooze. (obviously eggs benedict). I love LuLu, she's really the highlight of the hotel to a person like me. (yes, i can be needy and annoying, like most Ken & Karen type tourists). I simply expect perfection all the time.i'll deal and do with less.but perfect is my FKD standard. The hotel was my cousin's wedding venue, and the perfect space for us. (susan and paul 4ever). The way they made magic happen during trying times.covid has really sucked the wind out of our sails so many times.the optimism, smiles, and warmth exuded by LuLu. STUFF OF LEGEND. (can u tell i want to name any future daughter and or son, some derivation of Lu? Off my soapbox.mic drop.deuces.

Rooms are cheaply built and lacking in amenities. No ice machines at all. You have to call housekeeping to bring it, which takes forever and shows up in a large plastic bin to be fished out by the employee. Called down twice to get the missing iron and it never showed up. Had to borrow another rooms iron to get ready for a wedding. No pamphlets, hotel info, nor menu in room. Told after the fact that we had to scan code on the desk. Food variety is lacking, undercooked and disappointing to say the least. All around bad customer service and probably the worst experience of any hotel I have had the displeasure to stay in.

First time to Stay. Friend’s recommendation. Beautiful Hotel. Granduca Suite was awesome! Little construction going on around the pool area was no issue at all.

Eh. Nice place. Terrible service. Heard it from multiple people at our meeting. Not meeting needs. Not enough people servicing the areas of the hotel. Bartenders were rude. Sad.

The location of this lovely hotel is breathtaking. Green, rolling hills make this a delight for anyone who wants to be away from the busy downtown area. The drive up makes you feel like you're not in Texas.
The staff friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, clean and offered what we needed. The showers are awesomely spacious. The robes and a welcoming bottle of wine in the room, were a nice touch.

The biggest downside, toilet room has no doors, so absolutely no privacy

Was in Austin for surgery. Stayed here and considering the circumstances, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Parked in the Apple lot without issue, the valet folks were very friendly, the lobby smells amazing, the people at the front desk were kind, the bar and restaurant were fantastic, the room was large with a wonderful view, and it was very clean.

The food was so good though. Highly recommend the margarita pizza and the vodka pasta. The pizza was one of the most delicious I've had to be honest.

Anything we needed was promptly delivered to our room.

Would definitely stay again, and actually have some fun when I'm not so sore from surgery.

The drive up to the hotel, the staff, and lobby had us excited. The first thing we are told by reception is we can't go to the pool because there is a private party there until 6: 30 p.m. OK, not happy but not the end of the world. And then there was the room. The beds are incredibly hard. The sheets and towels are horrible. The air vent and fixtures in the bathroom hadn't been dusted in months. They played house music in the ballroom until 11: 00 p.m. I would not go again. The saving grace was the staff.

Didn't see whole property, just there for brunch but it sits atop an expensive hill overlooking West Austin and Bee Caves. Nice pool room, courtyard and outdoor seating.

We had a wonderful time everything at this hotel was wonderful. I had only 1 complaint; the elevators were impossible to find! Since it would be extremely difficult to move them, they need to posy signs or train their front desk to give directions before the customer leaves the desk. The front desk was very busy by the time we realized we needed directions.

I have stayed here almost every year for MotoGP and it's generally a great stay. Quiet location and clean rooms. This year it wasn't as magical I think it could be still be trying to recover from quarantine times.

We were here for one night. The hotel is North West of Austin proper and just South of Round Rock. The location is in the forest, heavily treed and rolling hills. It was beautiful. The only other structure on the same road as this hotel is the Apple Facility. Since we were there on a weekend that facility was empty. The hotel is decorated in formal, Italian Renaissance style. Beautifully done. The room was large, with a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker with plenty of coffee and tea choices. The bathroom was extensive, with a large walk-in shower. I slept like a baby in the comfortable king size bed. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Unique Greek /Rome look. We have been treated like stars from door to stand Desk to waiter. Everyone was super helpful and we felt like home. Lady at front desk upgraded us to beautiful 2 bedroom suite just to make my birthday more special. We had dinner at restaurant downstairs. Everything was great. Drinks are amazing. Pool is beautiful with huge hot tub. Great experience
