HOTWORX - Carrollton, TX

I've been going to Hotworx for around 6 months now and I've had a blast! The Carrollton location is always super clean and the staff is always very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. I've had numerous gym memberships over the years and I can say that Hotworx is the one where I feel the most comfortable and I genuinely feel great every session

I LOVE HOTWORX. I am an everywhere member and enjoy this studio so much. The GM Parker and the manager Maddy have both been so encouraging when I come in to work out. You can tell they really care. The place is SPOTLESS!

HOTWORX offer its members 24-hours of unlimited access to 11 different workout sessions with the benefits of working out in an infrared sauna according to your busy schedule which makes it the most convenient fitness studio ever. I have been a member since the pandemic as it was one of very few places that opened because of their ability to limit one person per sauna; plus infrared heat kills viruses. As a result or coincidently I never contracted Covid. I love coming as much or as little as I wish. It works for me. I am healthier and happier since before the pandemic. It’s a healer! I love it so much, I invested in one myself

Hotworx is my home away from home. I spend each and every morning with the wonderful Virtual Trainers. It’s open 24/7! When I’m there during staffed hours the staff is always so helpful and nice. They keep me going for sure. The facility is clean and always welcoming. My favorite is the FX Zone where I can lift weights and get stronger!

Just got off the phone with Parker the GM/ Owner of Hotworx in Castle Hills. I advised him that I misunderstood the cancellation policy. He responded that it was on the contract in multiple places. I told them I understood however I still thought the policy was horrible because it makes you pay a cancellation fee even though you have to be signed up for a minimum of 3 months. I told him I planned on writing a review to share my dislike for their policy. Parker then told me I was being a keyboard terrorist. All because I wanted to share my personal experience and dislike for a policy. He also said it's not his fault I did read the paperwork. For a GM/Owner Parker is very rude and disrespectful. I wasn't even planning on talking about the facility. No one goes over how to adjust/work the machines. It is unsanitary because people are in such a hurry they leave the rooms without wiping the machines down. Please beware!

Love coming to Hotworx! I've been coming for over a year and can feel a huge difference in my body. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is always clean.

I just HOTWORX, a little over a month ago! And really enjoy! The staff I have encounter have been nothing but nice and greeting every time I walk in the door! I have become a cycle fan within this last month and can’t wait to try the other classes. The place is always clean they are always cleaning to keep everything nice and tidy!

I am a sweat everywhere member and love this HOTWORX location. The staff is so friendly and the studio is the CLEANEST studio I visit!

Madeline and Parker (and the entire team at Hotworx Carrollton) are SO kind. They are knowledgeable and have made my experience with HW an absolute dream. If you are looking for a place to workout look no further than Hotworx in Carrollton:)

I took my wife as a guest and followed there procedure. Call before taking a guest. They did not answer the phone. I called 5 times, no one ever answered.
I took my wife, then Mr Parker ran my debit card for $107 2 days later. Unauthorized.
I called to ask why, he said because I took a guest and he was canceling the membership. He was extremely rude. Since the beginning, every time I went the staff was always rude. I always felt uncomfortable.
Mr Parker raised his voice and yelled at me while on the phone.

Parker, this review is in regards to the manager of this location. I was late with my payment for the month of December the day I was making my payment, Parkers called my phone with nothing but poor customer service. The conversation went so horribly wrong that I had to call my loved ones to report the encounter because I was genuinely afraid for my safety. He then proceeded to call my phone over five times back to back yelling obscenities. He was so rude and threatening, the worst part is that happened over a month ago and since the owner of the location has yet to reach out to me. Yet to offer a solution or apology in my discomfort. I refuse to go to that location and in return the manager Park has continued to harass me through text and has attempted to charge my card seven times a day since the incident. I was on a three month commitment but beware because the contract reads that you must continue two months after or pay a 99 early termination fee after your commitment timeframe (unheard of). They continue to mention they are a small business but the customer service is even smaller.

I have been a member if hotworx before and loved the experience so I will say it was particularly this location s manager. It does appear the corporation as a whole lack core values and standards as the different franchises seen to vary in service. The last location I was a member of changed management three times within a year and would say “it wasn’t worth the investment”.

Lastly, I am more than disappointed in corporate as well. I have sent multiple messages about the incident and have heard nothing back.

And before Tresa, the owner replying to all the negative reviews come and reply here, I would like to say. Parker mentioned she listened to the phone call and since then I have heard nothing back from her. I even called and requested a call and nothing. Service rating is below average.

Hotworx is amazing! If you are doubting about coming in, like I did at first, please no more doubts. You will love the different exercises that they offer. You have the option to go on your own pace with each exercise. I started about 2-3 months ago and have already lost 8 lbs. Dedication is the key. I also love coming to Hotworx because it allows me to spend some mother and daughter time. Come and try it! You will not regret it.

So glad I signed up and have been going to HOTWORX. Great workouts, flexibility with my schedule, and awesome staff!

I hate infrared sauna. Overpriced too. Glad I didn't do it. If ya wanna microwave yourself, go here lol

HotWorx is an absolutely amazing place to work out and get healthy in! Wonderful, kind staff, easy access and able to work out at any time. Truly love this place!
