House of Joy Chinese Restaurant reviews
12 Always delicious and Staff is very polite.
All a reflection of the owner Charles.
Good job
Orange chicken was ok. My fried rice was old and thats bad at lunch time. The rice tastes like it was from yesterday and reheated. Same with my egg roll. It was disgusting to say the least. Best thing about my order was the egg drop soup. Will not be back again.
A hidden gem for Asian cuisine. The restaurant is impeccably clean and the service is always great. The food is always served hot and is consistent quality. I enjoy the low-key atmosphere.
First time Great atmosphere & great service food was fresh & very good portions plates $10 to $20 a must to dine in best asian restaurant
Horrible service and the food was worse. I’m not sure what it was that I actually ate. I ordered the sesame chicken. My glass sat empty from halfway thru my meal until I paid. The server was inattentive. I felt like a ghost and there was only 3 other tables being served at the slow time between lunch and dinner rush.
This place is literally the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had it looked like my dog that had no legs and just feet made this food. The teriyaki looked like a pile of Shi just sloped on sauce out of a bottle. I could literally make the same thing and call it “Chinese” never come here stay away actually just don’t even look at this place. & if you do drown ur eyes w bleach. Rating 0 stars
A quiet, charming and friendly place for a good Chinese dinner. Staff is always nice and food consistently yum!
I ordered 3 dinners. The lemon chicken came with no lemon sauce. The chicken was so dry I couldn't eat it.
I have been a customer for many years but lately something has changed for the worst. I won't be back
Place was super clean. However, It had a really strong smell for me. I couldn’t make out what or where it was coming from. The service was wonderful. The food came out in less than 5 minutes. I ordered orange chicken and I honestly only had 2 bites of it. I couldn’t taste the orange and it had such a strong artificial flavor. My daughter got the sesame chicken which she actually liked. I thought it was pretty good too. The wonton soup wasn’t great but we ate it nonetheless. Its not too expensive.
Not a lot of flavor. The egg drop soup was good but the rest of the meal was disappointing. I got spicy chicken but the only thing with flavor was the jalapeños; the chicken and sauce didn't have much flavor on its own. Others in the group were disappointed as well.
And even though everyone ordered their own food, everything was brought out on family plates, so you had to scoop everything onto your own plate which got messy.
Staff is very nice. Ambiance is nice, too. Very clean.
Food? Nope. Not good. I had chicken and veggies and it had zero flavor. Nothing. The egg roll was tough and wouldn’t go down easily even though I chewed it well. My first and last visit.
Sorry, House Of Joy. No joy for me.
