Houston Draperies first asked for measurements of the windows I wanted to get curtains for. Next, I was asked what type of cloth I was looking for. I didn't need anything fancy since, I am merely covering windows at a studio I rent. I was shown fabric patterns and colors. I was thinking to match the darker teal color of my existing curtains. When I saw the lighter green, I thought it a more exciting color and, went with variety instead of, matching. The pictures are before and after for the green curtains made available through Houston Draperies. The curtains with the lights are shown to show the other color I was working with and, an easy way to have Christmas lights strung up for added viewing joy.

We had a great experience working with Victoria to add custom drapes to our living room. We have very tall ceilings with very high windows, so we had to order custom drapes. We get lots of sun and heat in one of our rooms. Victoria designed a stunning blackout Roman shade for our room which not only eliminated the bright street lamps at night but allowed us to be able to relax during the summer in this room without needing to crank up the A/C!
