Houston Garden Centers, Sugar Land TX

So many plants to choose from. Either for indoor or outdoor. I can easily spend hours there just looking at all the beautiful flowers and plants.

Just came to get some small herbs before winter.and like usual they always have what i am looking for and a few other things.

Raul helped me out, very nice person knows exactly what's in the inventory and really helped me pick my plants, would highly recommend getting his help.

I told the staff that I wanted a cherry tree and got a random tree not sure what it is, and they doesn’t let me return it. If I could, I want to give it a zero star.

Little pricey but the plants are in really good condition and easily transplanted! Very nice large variety of plants!

They are everywhere. They carry the goods from plants to chemicals. They just don't take AmEx and this one has no a/c. Edit: now taking AmEx (probably been a few years).

Nice selection and reasonably priced I got no help trying to find what I wanted I ask if they had what I came for they said it’s over there and left me to try and find it and that was the manager telling me that. Then before I left I talked to him about my experience before I left this review and he was like it is what it is so he had his chance to make it right.

We've bought Christmas trees from this location for the past four years, with this year being the fifth. Never had any issues, however the Blue Spruce that we purchased on 12/4/21 began to experience needle shed, despite placing it in the tree stand and filling the stand with water as soon as we arrived home. By 12/9/21, we began to notice more shedding. You could tap a branch and literally, half of the branches needles would fall off. We figured this isn't right, so I went to visit them the following morning and as soon as Raul caught sight of me holding my receipt, he became erratic and on the defense, loudly yelling "NO REFUNDS, NO WAY" as he began walking the opposite direction. The few workers I could find who understood English told me Raul's the manager. When I call that locations phone number, it rings then says the mailbox is full. You would think a company with several locations around town and television commercials would have the decency to hear me out and hold a discussion on the matter. I have proof that I've purchased four trees in the past, and this particular tree was just not right. I sat there for a second and decided that I didn't come here to argue with anyone, so I went back to my truck and disputed the transaction with my bank. Now we have to buy another tree.

If you're needing things for your home, this is your go to. If you're a contractor, this is not for you. I love this place for small jobs. They always come through.

Jini (jee-nee) was a great help. She made sure I had everything I needed to make sure my shrubs planted successfully. She made me aware product options and quantity pricing. Sam carefully loaded my car and made sure my plants didn't shift. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that accessories are priced ridiculously high.

I brought a bus full of memory care residents from an assisted living community and the staff could not have been more compassionate. They were kind and helpful and we had a wonderful time admiring the flowers and buying pumpkins! Thank you for a lovely outing.

They post signs in front of the plants 1/2 off when you get to the check out they don't give you the 1/2 off. Stay away from this place. People are rude.

Poor advertising/1/2 mark price.when I check out it says not on sale. They have to take all those markers.

The annual 50% off sale only applies to selective shrubs or out to season annual bedding plants.

I am usually pleased with the selection and prices that I encounter when visiting any of the Houston Garden Centers. I went to the one in Sugarland, and had a nice encounter with the store manager. She was very curious and helpful, offering several pieces of advice in regards to what is currently a good deal, and what has been doing well that year.
