Fantastic team worked to accommodate my kitesurfing lesson on short notice. Chris is very communicative and patient, very reassuring. I’m a 67 year old experienced windsurfer. He wanted me to succeed and gave me the tools. I made fantastic progress on this first lesson. The site and resources implemented in order to get me on the water were not trivial and Chris was along side me continuously giving instruction and encouragement.

Bobby's knowledge and customer service is above and beyond! Best experience and advise ever to help my foiling progress! Taylor, Phil, and the whole staff are so kind and helpful. Super stoked I found Houston kiteboarding, I won’t shop anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Had a great wingfoiling lesson. I highly suggest it prior to purchasing your starter gear.

They want to help you with the up to date information with patience whenever you want to discover more about the water sports. They carry an impressive inventory to fulfill the needs at the spot. Thank you.

Pretty fun and hot ground class. The only painful thing is that I scraped my ankle accidentally.

5 ️S I recently purchased A 2022 model board And unfortunately it was damaged during shipping. Houston kiteboarding took it upon themselves to send me a brand new 2023 model free of charge. Thank y’all

Had a great time, 1st lesson a little worry but Chris did a great job on teaching me. Went out in waste deep water with a small kite,
first work on flying it and body dragging then went on a bigger kite and work on trying to get up on a board, looking forward to my next lesson.

Poor experience overall; I went with 2 friends who were inexperienced and as a first lesson for them they didn’t receive good attention. The wind was too low and the instructor gave them a very small kite that was insufficient for the conditions.

This was so much fun! Chris is an excellent instructor in e foiling, it was a bit challenging at times getting the hang of it, but as long as you listen to the instructors directions in e foiling, don’t rush to stand, and get your balancing correctly you should be fine. This felt like I was gliding across the waves it was a thrill, I am definitely coming back here to do kiteboarding

I’ve only had positive experiences with the guys in the shop and that aspect of the business fully deserves 5 stars but I wouldn’t recommend taking a lesson from Houston Kiteboarding. The instructors were nice and meant well. However, it just felt like a very loose and unprofessional operation they are running. They were 45 minutes late and gave me minimal instruction. They forgot a trailer ball for the jet skis so they just used a padlock to connect the trailer to the truck. They kept discovering problems with their rental gear as they were getting it ready then having to change it out. It didn’t seem like there was much methodology being followed for teaching the lesson and every part of it felt very improvised. It would have been much more helpful to talk about things like the wind and wind direction then also to spend more than a few minutes to practice flying the wing while still on land. Other than a handful of helpful comments over the 2 hours, it really felt like I had to prod my instructor with questions to get much feedback on what I needed to do better. I've done a lot of coaching in other action sports and I fully understand that the instruction needs to be hands-off to a certain degree because a lot of it is feeling and experience based but more guidance and feedback would have been great. Maybe I got unlucky and caught them on an off day but overall I was disappointed to pay $300 for a 2 hour lesson of this quality
