Houston Manitowic Repair

Called this company, they took my credit card and charged $120.00 over the phone. Said the $120.00 would be credited to my bill. Technician came out and said it was the compressor switch on my ice machine. Keep in mind the machine is less than three years old. He said they would call me with a price for the repair and parts. Next day I had not heard from anyone. I called and talked to someone in a call center. They sent the same technician back out with another technician. It was obvious they did not know what they were doing. They left stating the same thing as the day before, they will call with an estimate for labor and parts. I then received a call from the call center asking me about my service, I voiced my displeasure and they put me in contact with the owner. He did not help either. I was told that the parts were not available and they could not get them. I called another company, Cool Tech, they came out the next day and diagnosed a bad compressor. The tech also explained that the compressor was still under warranty, I would only have to pay for labor. Ice machine will be repair by Friday, parts are coming from Wisconsin. I would highly recommend calling someone else. This is a nationwide company that uses subcontractors, so who knows who will show up to your business. Know I am trying to at least get some of my money back, I understand they have to pay the subs that came out, but $120.00 for nothing is not right.

My icemaker blew but was fixed right away by Anton from Houston Manitowoc Repair. Very professional and skillful. I highly recommend.
