Houston Marriott South at Hobby Airport

Wonderful, friendly, polite, and courteous staff from the top down. This began from the time a checked in, to time I departed and includes the individuals working the check-in desk, the staff in the restaurant, the cleaning staff, and everyone that had on a Marriot shirt or nametag as well. Great job! Keep up the outstanding service you are providing.

Very convenient location near Houston Hobby, easy to access shuttle, clean rooms, comfortable bed, friendly front desk and food service staff, good value for the rate. We were just there one night, but it was exactly what we needed when the airline cancelled our flight and stranded us in Houston!

Nice hotel if you don’t mind your car being broken into while in their lot. Unfortunately even though the lot is fenced and set up so they could limit access to just guests, Marriott has chosen to leave it open and not provide that level of additional security in this high crime area. The manager on duty did comp me the room for the night, which I appreciate.

I attended a conference at the Houston Marriott Hobby. First, location is perfect only minutes away from the airport and the hotel has a shuttle that travels to and from the airport at the top of the hour. The rooms are newly renovated, and I am picky with the cleanliness, but was very happy with the entire room. It was pristine! The best part of the visit was definitely the staff- especially the ladies at breakfast and the coffee shop. Sandra learned my drink of choice the first time I ordered it, and I was floored when she repeated the drink the second day without me having to ask for it. She was AMAZING. I have not encountered someone who has that kind of memory and is so engaging and sweet. If you think of hospitality, you think of Sandra. The other two ladies Jennifer and Imelda were also fantastic, very cordial and thoughtful. Even though I was traveling for work, I still enjoyed my time there. The General Manager was constantly walking around and you could see his commitment to making every guest feel welcome. Fantastic hotel!

Comfortable rooms. Indoor pool. Nice fitness center. Restaurant was ok. Staff are fantastic. They worked hard to insure our conference went well.

I stayed at this property for a business trip and decided to bring my family. My stay was awesome with a comfortable suite and a proactive staff. The General Manager as well as the Staff are AWESOME! Thank you for your great hospitality.

The whole team at this property were amazing. From checking in at the front desk to my departure, I was impressed with the professionalism and level of detail spent on my stay. Special shoutout to Lucia, who is just the best!

Room is nice, but can't sleep. Not sure why fire alarm went off twice. Got up from sleep twice to find no smoke, no fire. Yet someone pulled alarm. Big party of loud drunks at bar echos through hotel, into room Need ear plugs. Called front desk she said bar closes soon so should be ok in 30 minutes. Lol.what a joke

I stayed here for a convention held in the hotel. The staff from pickup at the airport to drop off at the airport is exceptional. Everyone is courteous and generous with helping you feel right at home. Every time you see a staff member you are greeted with a smile and a can-do attitude. Because the hotel is a bit of an oasis (ie: not much in the immediate area) they have good food service on site. The "kitchen" is a bit limited (no bathroom supplies) but it's good for a quick snack. I had the buffet for breakfast and lunch with a reasonably good selection of food.

I stayed here a couple of years ago and the hotel was renovated very recently. The updated rooms are exceptionally comfortable. The shower was amazing, great flow of water.

If you need something near the Hobby airport, this is a good one to go with.

Came for a conference - the amazing front desk staff, Banquet Servers, and amazing food. It was truly a great experience! Great job!

After a long day and a cancelled flight, we were able to get some rest at the Houston Marriott South. It was late and very busy, but the front desk employee was kind and efficient. We were able to get to our rooms quickly!

Close to the airport. The staff is absolutely amazing and the facility is clean and inviting. I spent one night here and one night at the sister hotel just a minute's walk away. They were both super hotels. Either choice will be wonderful.

From the shuttle driver, to check in, the room, and the staff my stay could not have been better. The hotel is beautiful, the service was fantastic. The next time I am in Houston I will definitely be staying here!
