This was by far the worst hospital I have ever been to. My father who is on palliative care and needed his shunt addressed was not seen for hours. No room was given, and all treatment was done in the waiting area for patients. Blood draws, IV’s, oxygen all set up in the waiting area with no privacy. If you request to leave you are quickly threatened with AMA. As a nurse I was able to address what needed to be done so we could leave immediately. I feel horrible for anyone who has no advocate in this place. I understand that the hospital may be at capacity with patients but this was beyond disturbing. For a hospital that is rated so highly, I was very disappointed in the bed side manner and lack of care. It was more comparable to the care given in a third world country. They need to be audited and change needs to take place. I do not recommend going here if you need to be seen urgently. It’s disgusting.

My mom ‘s follow up appointment after ending up in the ER with a possible micro stroke was cancelled out from under us, treated like it wasn’t urgent and important. My mom needed additional testing outpatient that Methodist hospital refused to do when she was still in the hospital. Even after this Doctors’ office was made aware that both my mom and me were hypoglycemic, they still told us we would have to wait an unrealistic amount of time to see a doctor. I also have a seizure disorder where low blood sugar can trigger a seizure. They don’t care. We are sitting here in the office as I am typing this because I cannot afford to just go home without a diagnosis for her since this is the tenth time now with no good explanation from doctors. This amounts to a combination of refusal to treat and gross irresponsibility on the part of medical professionals not to mention callous apathy.

Dr. Patricia Allamon is an amazing physician she actually listens to your concerns. I had some issues going on and had my lab work done to confirm if my symptoms were relevant to my lab work. I recently moved, but I don't plan to seek a new Doctor closer to me I will drive 30-45mins to come see her for any future issues.

Up till now these visits have been positive. Today Only one person at check in, computers down, wait time in examine room over 30 minutes.
They say check in early " For What"

I had an appointment with Dr. Justin Grissom today for a check up on some on going pain that I had been dealing with. He was attentive and took the time to listen to all my questions. I felt completely comfortable and didn't feel rushed at all. Even getting my blood drawn was very easy. The phlebotomist was great and the whole procedure was completely painless.

Made a first visit appointment in February for the end of March because I heard great reviews about Dr. Watson and that was when I was told she would start seeing patients after her maternity leave. I get to my appointment on March 23 to be greeted by Dr. Henson. No problem. She ends up putting me on Wellbutrin XL for smoking cessation. Couple of weeks go by and this medication that is also an anti-depressant totally altered my mood and emotions. I called the office with my concerns and left a voice email for her assistant, no call back. I call the next morning before taking medication, no call back so, I call right before closing and had to not be myself to get an answer as I was reading to not just stop taking it. I was told to just stop taking it. I just feel like as a medical practice, when a patient is having an issue with new medication, they should not have to continue waiting for no call or direction from the medical facility she chose to trust with her health. Seems to me this is one of the many places that takes new patience, gets their kick backs from the pharmaceutical company and forgets about the patient and could really care less. Will be finding a different provider.
