Houston Recovery Houses reviews
19A great place to live in sobriety …very recovery oriented…. I would recommend it to anyone who has a problem with drug addiction or alcoholism staff is very knowledgeable
Wonderful warm and helpful for others who need a hand up in life. Highly recommend this place.
To anyone needing help with recovery or a second chance to get on your feet this place Houston recovery houses is a well and maintained place not strict but very intuitived with the 12 steps of AA and a place to safe money and get to know people of the same back ground very clean homes and the payment arrangements. Are not crazy stupid they work with you with that being said we have group meetings and discuss are week and goals and no one judges you I have been here a month and enjoy my stay very much and have had a lot of help and advice towards my recovery. Words of advice just be straightforward and respectful and keep doing the next right thing and you will see the fruits of your labor unfold and the manager art is a very well respected man in recovery and will help you as well to the best of his abilities.
I have known the owner of Houston Recovery houses for almost 5 years now
I knew Stephen when he was a manager for another Sober Living community
I am happy to say that I have sent more than 10 men to Homes that he’s managed or while he has been in ownership of Houston Recovery houses I will continue to do so
I hope, and I wish the best for all the men in recovery and especially those men in the homes that he owns managers and supervises.
I look forward to watching him, grow and expand
I have been to unfortunately a couple of sober livings prior to coming to HRH. Until I came and was interviewed here I was guessing HRH was going to be another standard Oxford or other sober living environment. I am grateful for the way they had structure, step work, in house meetings and most important at least for me was a true caring for the advancement of sobriety for myself and clients in recovery. I graduated sober and deeply grateful for HRH and their sober model for successful recovery
Houston Recovery Houses (not to be confused with Houston Recovery Homes) was highly recommended by The PaRC (Prevention and Recovery Center) here in Houston where I did my in-patient treatment. I made many calls and decided this was a good place to start.and glad I did. I've been in the house (they have several) for almost 6 months now, and it's a great place. The Spring Branch area is really nice and all the houses are located close to public transportation.great If you don't have a vehicle to get around.
The program is solid, management is very attentive and flexible, everyone is held accountable, and the donated food is a huge bonus. Chick-fil-A, Whole Foods, all kinds of great BBQ, fruits, sweets, etc.all good stuff. The cost is in line with the other facilities around but they offer so much more here. If you or a loved one is looking for a nice sober living facility I would definitely take a look at Houston Recovery Houses.
The place was filled with others relapsing and the owners just didn’t seem to care.the homes were not clean and 0 accountability while my nephew was here.
It's a positive environment here. Living with fellow recovering alcoholics and addicts holding each other accountable and reaping the benefits of sober living. Every day It seems I experience a new unexpected blessing. Its given me renewed hope and motivation.
I knew what I was looking for when it comes to a sober house, the house exceeded expectations. There’s healthy accountability and it’s definitely a great environment to get back on your feet. This house is a great environment for new comers too, or with just a couple days of sobriety!
I've visited and lived in multiple recovery houses and I have to say that Houston Recovery Houses is by far the best one I've seen and lived in. The community was bought over and is now run by a new owner, Stephen, whom I have known since 2015. The house is run in parallel to 12 step principles, which is a fundamental part of recovery. If you or a loved one are thinking of making a positive recovery based lifestyle change and be surrounded by discipline and structure. This is the place to go to.
Great group of guys and leadership. They really emphasis that saying in the Big Book “a design for living that works”!
This place is really awesome it's a safe place to be at its very peaceful and everyone here is about their recovery I definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a fresh start in their recovery the owner is really a cool person and understands our situation if theirs more stars I would give this place 10 stars
Very friendly management. Was able to move between my work schedule. They have a great house program while holding everyone accountable for their own progress.
This is a HOME, much more than just a sober house! A Sober Home at HRH renewed my hope! I really didn’t think this was the answer when I completed 30 day rehab, but it has turned out to be the greatest decision of my life!
I can’t say enough good things about Stephen T, Clay P, and the rest of the staff! All of my house mates are involved in a 12 Step program, have sponsors, diligently working steps, we all do our part in keeping things neat, organized and functional… It’s amazing to be a part of it!
The amenities, including outstanding prepared dinners three nights a week, are of the highest quality being offered in the sober living sphere.
A great sober living for people that actually want to change how they are living. Be in a safe environment. Want to be held accountable. I have been in 2 other sober livings, and neither of those had as good of an environment to get sober in.
Came to the house broken, confused, and afraid. HRH provided positive direction, comfort, and accountability. Got my confidence back and most importantly peace of mind. Thank you Houston Recovery House. Also, the food was really good to.
Great place to start and maintain your journey of recovery! Attentive and gracious management. Solid program focused on accountability. If you're ready to begin your new life, it's a good place to start over. Owe these guys the world for helping me get back on my feet with God guiding my path.
I really enjoy the fellowship of the other men in this home. Great balance of accountability and trust. Our meals are included with the rent, they are both plentiful as well as delicious. Stephen practically saved my life by accepting me on such a short notice and I couldn’t be more thankful to be living where I am today!
