I had old cassettes, slides, and tapes that I had no idea what was on. Houston Scanning does it all did an excellent job converting my items. They were fast and a joy to work with. I highly recommend.

What a treasure. I had 7 reels of old 8mm movies from as long as 68 years ago that Houston Scanning digitized for me. These videos included all 4 grandparents, 4 uncles, 4 aunts, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 7 cousins and others. My parents were still in their 20s. I have enjoyed sharing these videos with my siblings and my cousins. Houston Scanning did a great job for a fair price. Now I am getting some old slides together.

This was an amazing find for me. Photo albums dating back to 1970 and then all the iPhone videos for the past 10 years. It is now on a USB and also available for all to see on my TV. Did a lot of research. The size of the project was large. Finally settled on Houston Scanning. Local, reasonable pricing and trust that I would receive all documents back. Don’t get me wrong it is still expensive but the best pricing in town and bad reviews left the mail in options out of the running. Every 2 weeks I dropped off a load and was shown what was done to previous load. At the end of the project, realized we had just digitally preserved 100 years of our family’s history. Totally worth every cent.
Danny and his team did a phenomenal job. Repaired scratched photos, adjusting exposure in some making people suddenly appear. Keeping me up to date with progress emails and available to me for questions by phone, text or email.

I took some year 1960 slides to Houston Scanning to have them digitized. Today I picked them up and Danny was super excited to be able to give me these wonderful memories in a form for today’s users. Super professional! I received updates about what stage my project was and I received it earlier than expected.

They digitized a few of my 8mm videotapes that were 20+ years old and they did a very good and professional job.

We brought our 49 year old faded color wedding picture for improvement. The carpet in the picture was an ugly orange and a floor receptacle was an unappealing focal point. Danny and Nikki were able to remove the receptacle, remove the fading, and change the carpet color to a neutral beige. After reviewing at home the finished product, we noticed the unity candle had an orange bow which we hadn't mention to be changed. Nikki was called and within minutes she emailed us 4 pdf files with 4 different colors of the bow! Next year is our 50th anniversary and we have a beautiful new wedding picture to display! Great service and timely performance!
