H&R Block, Houston TX

I have used H&R Block for many years and have always admired how smooth and quick the process is. It is largely because of this that I will keep coming there to get my taxes done. My only reservation is that the cost of doing taxes has gone up quite a bit since a few years ago. I do not know if I could afford going to H&R Block if they keep increasing the rate.

Joanna is the best I have been going to her for several years and she always makes me feel comfortable and the service is quick and always with a smile.

Your agent is very thorough. She explained everything to me in a way that I understood. The front desk agent was very kind.

Tax preparer is professional and very knowledgeable in preparing taxes. She was patient in taking her time to serve us well.

My tax person needs training BADLY. She was lost the whole time and needed help to complete our return the correct way.

I spoke to a woman named Eloise and it was absolutely awful she spent most of the time interrupting me and when she wasn’t doing that she wasn’t even paying attention. She was constantly starting conversations with other employees while I would be asking a question and then asking me to repeat the question and just generally seemed not to be available, I definitely won’t be going to this location or calling again

The person that helped us with the tax preparation is very knowledgeable about her job and really explains everything throughly. That's why we have been going to her every time for several years now.

I feel secure when I file my taxes with H&R Block. Friendly and fast service! JoAnn Taylor has gained my trust more and more each year.

Last year we missed the cash advantage period by a day! Being broke, that was a kick in the teeth. But that’s life.

This year we went back to file and we got great service as usual. My contempt for the IRS should not be mistook for ppl making a living. Paying to pay your taxes always confused me.

Joanna took care of us, like she always does and when she mentioned their prices went down, I thought “yea right. What $20? ! ” Bc, you know we’re all cynics these days. When she came back and told us our return actually went UP AND she gave us a bill HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS less than previous years, I nearly fell out of my chair.

Getting good service for a great price is different experience than good service while paying through the nose. Made my day! Thank you so much!
