Humble Municipal Court

Humble is worst court system I have ever dealt with. They are well known for there mediocrity.

Thus far, the experience is mediocre. I am stuck having to fight a speeding ticket that alleges I was going 60 in a 35. I know I am not that careless. Besides the fact it was 1: 30 am, the officer was parked with all his lights on the vehicle off and parked in the opening of some warehouse. I didn't even see the cruiser until I was halfway past it. It was pitch black where he was. The next thing you know, he has his lights on and emergency lights, pulling me over. I was expecting to hear it was because of a burned out tail light. But, instead, the officer tells me I was doing sixty. Then stated I was really doing 64. I knew better than to challenge the officer, because the ego's have a tendency to escalate situations to unnecessary levels. Bow after seeing all these reviews, I wonder how fairly or unfairly I will be treated. It's bad enough I get mega nervous around them. I've seen too many cases where it comes down to our word against the word of a cop. The court is already biased and proves so by taking the cop's word than the defendant's. Now I'm thinking I need to reschedule the court and go hire a lawyer. I'm just lost for words and pray this works out. Work is scarce and money is tight. Every interaction with your "friends" in blue are opportunities to generate revenue. Fingers crossed

As another review or two here states, this court is a hypocritical one. In 2019, it was ruled illegal that red light cameras be used but look here what I got in the mail. The city of Humble is absolutely in the dark ages. I am moving from this dump.

When a loved one died and I needed help getting additional death certificates the staff was extremely helpful. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and kindness! Thank you for the support you offered during an extremely difficult time.

Such a bad court...

This is the same court that condones red light cameras and fining those that "run" said red light cameras at intersections.

They should be ashamed of themselves.
