Hunan Restaurant, Killeen TX

Hunan's has some of the best Chinese food I've eaten in Killeen. They put so much food in the containers that you can barely close the lid. Very friendly and professional staff and the food is always fresh and hot. I feel like family because whenever I order I never have to say my name they always know it's me. "Extra extra sauce please" They take over-the-top precautions to ensure everyone is safe and protected from covid. Thanks for helping me and my family get through these tough times!

It was okay the egg rolls were the best. Sweet and sour chicken not so hot and the super combo #1 terrible

I ordered broccoli chicken and shrimp in garlic sauce. Food was done fast. HUGE portions and great taste. Will be eating here again.

I was skeptical at first but decided to give this place a try. I should have avoided it, the food is flavorless, unappealing to the eyes and overall upsetting. I wish it was better but it simply isn't. Purchase with caution.

My order was wrong and what I did get simple shrimp lo Mein that was absolutely nasty. I feel like Hunan basically stole $30 from me.

While the service for pick up and staff were great that is really the only positive thing I can say. The foorld was not very good at all. The Lomain noodles were fettuccine noodles and the tase was so off, salty and flat. We also ordered the General Tso's chicken and Sesame chicken. Both had so many bones in the chicken it was hard to eat. The chicken was dry and overcooked. We will not go back. We did appreciate the service though.

Where my food I oarderd and no one came and I paid with credit card 19 dollers $ and I been trying to call and it just keeps ringing

I have been in this area for over 40 yrs, it is not the same Restaurant it seems that they changed their chef, the food is not the same the pepper steak is nasty, their combination rice is not the same the worst in the area, use to be the best, not anymore, so sad, so sad, bye Hunan.

I love this place. I won't eat at buffet restaurant. Hu Nan cooks your food when you order it. Very friendly staff. I've been coming here 20+ years.

It’s mediocre Chinese to say the least it wasn’t nasty but definitely nowhere near the good Chinese food I’m use to eating. The shrimp fried rice had the shrimp sitting on top of the rice vs mixed in which makes me think they actually count the shrimp they put In the rice. I will probably give it another try but like I said it’s nowhere near great food

We got the veggie lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, and sesame chicken. The only big portion was the lo mein. The chicken portions weren't small but they weren't huge like other places around here. We also got egg rolls and they were not good. They had a hint of some sweet spice in it that smelled like fabuloso floor cleaner. The sweet and sour sauce was less sweet and more tangy. We were hoping this would be our new spot since we live so close but we weren't very impressed.

I am not the type to complain but it took over an hour to deliver but driver was nice.
I ordered the combination plate #5.the Mongolian beef is discusting! It was just sliced beef with over cooked onion drenched in oil, no flavor no spicy no nothing.the beef sticks were hard. The "chicken on a stick" is over cooked chicken legs that have been boiled.the pork fried rice at least was edible.
I also got wonton soup which would have been good if they didnt pour soy sauce into it.
I paid $18 for 2 items off the menu.this was just completely disappointing.do you even have people who know how to cook Asian cuisine working on your staff?
I'll stick to mama fu Asian house.
I would strongly advice not to waste your time and money.

It was average, at best. I ordered shrimp lo mein. 8pm on a weds and was told 1 hour for delivery. They arrived 45 mins so ok. The noodles were too plain for me. There was celery in them but no carrots and very very few onions. The noodles were a bit bland so I had to add some soy sauce. The shrimp were okay and there was an average amount. They did have a nice light garlic flavor to them. I've gotten lo mein before that I just dug into and inhaled and savored. This was just ok. Leftovers weren't even that enjoyable. Bummer.

Place is dirty, food kind of expensive, waitress didn't talk English, one talk Spanish. 1st they gave us wrong order, then got Mongolian beef, but hardly any beef mostly onion. Had to wait on drinks long time.

Found this little place completely by accident when looking for a quickish lunch. FANTASTIC FOOD - fresh, hot, fast and delicious. Small plates are still good sized. Best Chinese I’ve had in a long long time!

Not the best.that's in Chicago. But living in Odessa it's 1000x better. Big portions served fast and hot. If I'm ever here again I'll stop by.

Good food and nice atmosphere. It is a hole in the wall but good parking handicap advisable though bathrooms do not accommodate a wheel chair. Private party room and take out available.

Worst LO MEIN in the world! It was extremely over cooked and blan! I called spoke with the manager and was told to bring in the food to receive a refund so I did. After speaking with them in person they are refusing to refund my money and threatened to call the police on me. So I am now waiting for an officer because of how they have treated me! Do not go here or order food it I'll be the worst experience with a restaurant you'll ever have!
