Remember to use HotelDully. ᴄᴏm when booking your place. They compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't be disappointed.

One of the most cleanest hotels we’ve stayed at in a while, a short drive away from town. The hot breakfast was nice. The bar at the front desk area was accommodating. The gentleman who works the front desk in the evenings was very kind & deserves recognition. Will definitely be coming back the next time we are in San Antonio.

I came back after falling in love with the hotel after my first stay 6 months ago. Even in my first review I stated I would be returning. Couldn't wait to reserve my next stay. I even signed up for World of Hyatt Loyalty Program anticipating this location to be my favorite hotel and returning time after time.

Down side-As soon as I walked through the front doors my first impression was "What happened? " From the lobby to the elevator to the enterior of the room, overall everything looked a little worn. Lobby furniture upholstery had stains from spills and dirty hands. Elevator floor was dirty. Lobby wall paper, in spots, was peeling. In the room, items on the counter looked like they could of been bought from a garage sale. Also the room had several areas where it could have been a little cleaner.

Later, when in the shower, I was shocked to find mold along the ceiling above. It would of only taken a wipe of a cleaning rag to remove. Then as I was getting my clothes ready I found out the iron was missing from the room. Just a completely different experience from my first visit.

Still appreciated the location, cozy bed, large screen TV, wet bar and work desk.

Overall, I will not choose this hotel for my next stay while visiting San Antonio. For the nightly rate Hyatt charges I was expecting more.

Very clean rooms and excellent front desk staff. Breakfast looked great, but I met with family. Love the free coffee station! I will visit again!

Their pet policy applies only to dogs. No cats. Please change your description of "pets" to "dogs".

Stay away! We booked a room for 3 nights and never got the room cleaned (room 501). When we complained the front desk answers were inconsistent. First they said that rooms were cleaned every 3 days and a different clerk said every 4 days. This is the first hotel in our lifetime that doesn’t provide housekeeping service. Anyway when we booked we were not told about it

The customer service here is inconsistent at best, downright crooked at worst. My fiance and I stayed this past weekend as I was competing in a national taekwondo championship. I was badly injured and so we asked if we could check out early? We were told yes and our bill would be adjusted as long as we checked out prior to noon. We checked out at 11 and were told that we would owe for the entirety of the reservation. We called later to speak with the manager, who never answered and never called us back, and then were charged for the entirety of the long weekend even though we had checked out early. Looking at the Hyatt app it appears the front desk person (Mei) never actually checked us out.
We were not expecting bells and whistles for the price of the booking, but we did expect honesty and integrity in the business. And on top of that the facility is not great. Went to the pool and there were dead bees and roaches in the pool water. The shower was not very clean, and the breakfast lacked food options for anyone with celiac. They had a "gluten free" cereal but it was cross contaminated. We will not likely stay at another Hyatt given this experience. Even in other places around the state.

The pictures of this place are all wrong. Not sure how it's rated so high. Very outdated and dirty. Turned on the sink and the water came out very cloudy (as you could not see through the cup). The elevators shook tremendously. There's a gross smell throughout the hotel. Not sure I'd ever recommend this place to anyone.

This is a 2-3 star, mediocre hotel right here! It's a bit annoying when people park their oversized vehicles in the "compact car" spots, but they're probably the same ones who failed the sorting cube exercise in kinder. Wish I would've known the rooms consist of window AC units. I get it, they probably can't reconstruct the building, but it's over 100 degrees out and it makes a difference in comfort. The sofa bed in the room was so old, it was horribly unusable as a couch. There's also no microwave in the room, but there's a mini-fridge. Even Marriot has a microwave in their rooms. Service is so-so. Like so, so, so mediocre. I had more enthusiasm when I worked at Wendy's. This place isn't worth the price. There's a quality-price mismatch going on here. I suggest the Westin next door.

Very friendly staff all the way around. Breakfast was decent for what the staff is given to work with. One of the elevators was broken while I was there. Would stay there again.

I don't recommend staying here. The check in was good. Down hill after that. One of the 2 elevators is broken and has been for a while according to the other reviews i'm reading. The room smelled not sure what the smell was just not good. The AC unit made a loud noise every time it shut off, like a door creaking kept us up all night. Requested towels several times, had to get them ourselves. The breakfast was subpar, but it was complimentary. Worst of all my vehicle was broken into, and I parked close to the front, even though they stated they have on-site security. I never saw security. I don't expect them (STAFF) to solve the crime but they had little to no compassion for the incident. As we had family in the hospital, the hotel was located close so that's a plus.

Staying at the Hyatt for 8 days, their service is phenomenal. Had a very late check in at midnight, had a lovely, happy lady check me in and a pleasure to deal with. Everyone I've met since has been the same, friendly, happy and they remember small details which is lovely.
No issues with the elevator at all.
Bed was amazingly comfortable, aircon was loud but kept my room cool day and night. I'd happily stay here longer.

We had a pretty bad experience with an employee at breakfast. We asked for a bowl and she only looked at me without giving any answer. After a while I went to look for someone else to help us out and she made a scandal, shouting at me that she was serving the owner and that she had closed the service for the day. She went then to pick up everything as fast as she could so I couldn't give breakfast to my kids. When we complained later with someone else they were not surprised and tried to help us out, but my kids wanted out of the place.

This is a great location hotel right off of I-10. Hotel was nice and in a quiet location. Few restaurants and hangouts nearby within walking distance. Robert who was working the front desk immediately greeted us upon arrival. He also had let us know the elevators had just gone down a few hours before but the stairs were available for use. We expressed our concerns with having to use the stairs with our luggage, baby and expecting mom. He quickly did everything he could to accommodate us and our large party. I highly would recommend this hotel based on the staff alone. Very nice.

I found cockroaches in the room, and personally, they disgusted me, and I couldn't sleep

Nothing great but not too bad either. Definitely a dated property with popcorn ceilings and the finishings in the room (lamps, etc) had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while. There was also a tree trimmer crew running a wood chipper right in the driveway of the hotel which got in the way of an afternoon nap. The room smelled stale and the below window air conditioner was extremely loud. Breakfast is included but nothing special, expect powdered eggs, some meats and a variety of breads you can toast. While eating breakfast the AC vent above us in the lobby was dripping down on to our table. The bed was clean and comfortable aside from having undersized pillows (like seriously among the smallest I’ve seen at a hotel) and bathroom was clean and functional as well. One of the two elevators was out of service during our stay and after waiting 5+ minutes for it at one point we just took the stairs down from the 5th floor. There’s a lot of room for improvement here.
