Cody - in the restaurant area - was extremely helpful and proactive with his service. Really appreciated his going above and beyond.

What a treat! Super lovely spot with a great view of town lake and the city! Staff was super friendly at every turn. Clean and comfy!

Extremely friendly staff, clean rooms and best river view rooms, bathroom had a standing shower with finest shower fittings, quality of the bed is beyond satisfactory, very clean and well well maintained room.

Great guest service… as a globalist I was hand delivered gifts of local beef jerky and salsa by staff. What an amazing welcome! Food is tasty as well. We were upgraded to an amazing suite!

An extremely rude security guard named Zea treated me like dirt asking me if I was a guest or do I have a friend that is staying here? Why did she come up to me is it because I am WHITE and she is BLACK? Does she Hate a white woman seems that way because I was sitting being quiet by myself the whole time and my small dog was laying down being quiet also and I got kicked out for zero reason. Good luck with kicking out an anointed woman in Biblical times. She would not allow me to speak with the manager and would not answer the question did a manager send her. And escorted me to the door and even walked out and followed me down the sidewalk. I was fearing she might beat me up. I had thought many times I look forward to staying at the hotel in future but now they lost a customer. I have visited the hotel several times and enjoyed sitting by myself with my dog and no one ever said anything. I am sure she enjoyed every minute of your power to kick me out. And in 5D Earth she will get the same if she even arrives.

Great people and a wonderful experience. The setting is perfect on the water with a deck and access to a trail along the town lake.

Best hotel for a vacation or staycation. Valet parking available. Convenient to Lady Bird Lake trail. Riverview room is best. Great breakfast buffet and dinner at Marker 10 is a must. We will stay here again!

Wow! Great hospitality and service. Thank you Eli for your over the top generosity. Eli brings a certain Savoir faire to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Positive energy is contagious! Dinner at Marker 10 far exceeded our expectations. The fried Brussels sprouts were out of this world. Thank you again for making a girls getaway super special! We will be back.

Best place to stay. My first experience was on New Years and I had a amazing time and short walk from seeing fireworks. I will recommend this place to everyone.

This is a beautiful hotel, in an awsome location. Very clean and friendly staff- especially appreciate the speedy service of Ryan in valet.

I came here to eat light dinner with family and ordered a couple of appetizers and drinks, the waiter was very professional courteous, and patient, he went above and beyond to make sure we got everything taken care of—wonderful dining experience. In the end, he even gave us a freshly made batch of chips and queso to go in a bag. Warmed our hearts. Definitely will return.

Booked a last minute room on New Years Eve. Very nice hotel. The front desk staff were all very nice and helpful. People complaining about the garage parking fee- yes it is high. But all hotel garage parking in cities is high. It is what it is. The nice front desk staff accommodated my request for checking out later than 11. I was happy to pay the fee. Would tay here again. Love the shower!

When you’re driving from downtown across the bridge over Lady Bird Lake, you see this beautiful Hyatt sitting to the right. It’s a marvel to see during the day and at night. The staff is always very polite. The bars there are amazing. I love the fact that you can enjoy the lobby and patio area as well as other wonderful amenities in the lobby area. You can also walk outside near the water and walk to the area and see the bats fly. It’s just gorgeous! Thank you!

Old outdated hotel, don’t believe the pictures, they were taken 50 years ago. I was going to stay for a week, but I ended up, leaving after one night. C’mon Hyatt, do better!
With an investment of time and money, this could be a top-tier hotel because of the location sandwiched between downtown Austin and cool Congress area.

Quiet, clean, updated, safe, comfortable, and next to the river. What more can a tired traveler ask for?

We stayed at the Hyatt for a 3 days weekend and we had a fantastic stay. The hotel staff was super accommodating and generous. We were upgraded to a river view room and had late checkout. We took advantage of the location and walked the beautiful hike and bike trail every morning. When we were on the property, we enjoyed a beer on the outside deck at Marker 10 or just lounged at the pool as we took in the beautiful view of the Austin skyline. The younger members of my family didn’t want to leave. And I can’t wait to come back.

Really nice hotel. Staff was very attentive and so helpful. Rooms were nice in size and very clean.
Bed was comfortable and the amenities were nice to have.

BED BUGS! Disappointing experience in March 2023. Stayed 1 night. Reported bed bug bites 1 day later (including photo of bites). Pablo replied and and said they would take room out of availability rotation. I asked for a concession on my room rate. Pablo never replied. I kept trying to reach someone periodically and in May, someone named Ben replied and told me he couldn't refund me but would give me points toward a free night. I graciously accepted. It's been 4 months (with three email to Ben) and no points, or reply. I posted on their Facebook page twice asking to have someone from the Social Media team reach out to me. Both times the posts were removed and there has been no response.

Hotels get bedbugs from time to time, I get it. I am more disappointed in their lack of communication and follow through. I travel quite a bit for work and can assure you that the Marriott family of hotels is enjoying the spoils of this hotel's ineptitude. I waited 7 months to post this in hopes that Hyatt could make it right but here we are. So buyer beware!

The hotel was lovely! We really appreciated the atmosphere, the front desk staff with Aimee, and Eli. As well the valet guys Cris and Tayvin!
