Hyatt Regency Frisco - Dallas

We had a great stay and had a wonderful breakfast next morning. The service from Amey and Akhil was excellent. Highly recommend it. I will stay at the Hyatt Regency Frisco again.

Let me start this review by saying, I've stayed in many Hyatt properties and I work in Meetings and Events industry where I source Hyatt properties. I checked into this property at 530pm on Sat, as a staycation. I recently had a baby and needed some time to myself. I booked this stay on points. I stayed in the room until 1130pm until receiving a call that required me to leave to get back to my newborn. I told front desk this. The room was in tip top shape. I barely touched anything in the room. I asked front desk if I could be granted at least half of my points back since I had to check out early. The night auditor advised there was no manager on duty and I would need to contact them in the am. I did just that and spoke with DeAndre, I believe is his name. I explained the situation to him and he advised he didn't have the ability to give points back, that I would just need to contact Hyatt directly and let them know of the situation. I contacted Hyatt first thing Monday explained the situation yet again, they placed me on hold and said they spoke with this same DeAndre at the property regarding the situation and he said they couldn't give me points back because they couldn't resale the room. I have a HUGE issue with this because he made it seem like I just needed to speak with Hyatt corporate and explain the situation. And regardless if you could resale the room or not. Where is the humanity in this to know I had an emergency. As an explorist Hyatt member I expect more. It shouldn't really matter what level of Hyatt member I am. I'm not asking for all points back just half. I tried to call DeAndre a few times again, this more but haven't been successful to reach him. I'm very disappointed.

I liked this hotel a lot. The rooms were spacious and modern and the hotel was clean. Great staff who were attentive and caring.

I don’t like the sliding barn door for the bathroom. When traveling with your family you want greater capacity for privacy.

I don’t like that the lobby was slim on general seating. I felt like I had to sit in a restaurant space which didn’t always seem welcome.

Very nice rooms. Modern. Clean. GREAT location and plenty of parking. You can walk over to the mall without even going outside. Lots of food and entertainment options in close distance.

Stayed here for New Year's. Everything was great. Easy access to the mall from the hotel lobby.

Me and a close friend were greeted by a large open lobby still decorated with the warmth of Christmas. We’d booked a shared room so that neither of us would have to drive after the Triple Crown New Year’s event held on the hotel’s second floor.

The staff at the front desk were extremely pleasant and we loved the bartender (Peter)! The only time I felt a slight air of annoyance is when I’d asked one of the cooks in the restaurant what types of food was served, I was directed to the bar for a menu. I was not yet ready to order but was instead looking for them to say, “American or Mexican” food.

Our room was spacious and situated on the 8th floor with beautiful views of the Frisco skyline visible from each end of the hall.

Checkout was a breeze and parking was convenient without the need to valet.

I would stay here again and recommend!

I will definitely be back. This hotel offers valet service and free shuttle service. The holiday scene is magical!

It was a very nice hotel. The staff were very professional and hospitable. Big kudos to Manager Mr. Mahir and the entire team for flawlessly hosting our large community group. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our experience memorable.

The hotel is very clean. They have cheerful and helpful staff. Especially the TV in the room has chrome cast connection which is not in many hotels. I liked it a lot.

The staff is a joke and doesn't communicate with customers. If you tell someone you're to call them back in 45 minutes then don't
call them back. I was told I would receive a call back in 45 minutes because the manager was at lunch 2 and 1/2 hours later I had to call them back. Also the Hyatt globalist status means nothing to them.
