2 Dr. Vagner and staff have excellent communication skills with both patient and family.very impressed with overall service. They ask the right questions and answered all of ours. Clean well ran facility. Appears negative reviews were related to failure of payment by others.

The older reviews detailing nightmarish experiences with billing still hold true. They sent my account to collection, even after I told them my claims were actively being adjusted by insurance because of billing screw ups caused by them, the anesthesia company (chosen by Hyde Park Surgery Center), as well as the surgeon's office (who happens to be an owner of Hyde Park Surgery Center.). When their claims were "settled" (they actually still are not, I've been dealing with this horrible situation going on 9 months) and I paid them ($2000!), they didn't know anything about it, claiming that it had been sent to a 3rd party, and I would have to deal with the 3rd party.who also claimed to not know about the payment I sent.
You get the picture.
If you can avoid having your operation performed here, you should. If not, I strongly recommend not paying them, or any of the providers they choose, until your insurance company has told you your patient responsibility.
