Ibn Sina Wilcrest Dental Clinic, Houston TX

Very disappointed! The rep in the front tried to charge me $15 for fluoride which I have never payed that since I have been coming to that dental office. Very racist, mostly Indian staff works there now and they treat us African Americans very badly I will never return to this dental office. The new lady with the fillers in her lip knows nothing about her job and more about her injections in her face. So rude and scamming. If you are black please stay away from here. Staff has changed all the workers were rude to black people. Very mad and disappointed.

On September 14th my mom went in for a root canal. She then scheduled an appointment for her crown on November 13th. When she went on November 13th she told them she was still feeling pain on that tooth. They gave her medication and scheduled an appointment for December 6th to follow up and extract the tooth or redo the root canal that they had not done properly the first time. At her appointment they then told her they could only remove the tooth and would keep credit with them for the rest of the amount we had payed for the root canal. We told them we did not want credit or to get the tooth removed but wanted a refund instead. The dentist agreed they should refund us since they had not done the root canal properly. The man I believe is the manager then came and said we could get a refund but next time we went to that dental office we would be charged as new patients. We agreed to that but then he changed his mind and said he will not be refunding us. We are never coming back and suggest you don't either because they don't stand by their work. Not only that but they said my mom had high blood pressure and still wanted to continue with the tooth extraction.

They are advertising in the newspaper that they offer free exam and xrays for nee patients in November 2023. When i took my son Ryaan Ansari lat week for exam and Xrays, they charged him $39/-. When i told the girl at the counter about the promotion, she said we do not have promotion anymore. Then why advertise and misguide people?

We spent hours waiting for a dentist to examine my brother's teeth, only for them to perform a superficial check and leave. Subsequently, another professional informed us that the initial dentist lacked the proficiency to complete the necessary dental work, resulting in a two-week wait for a specialist. 3 hours wasted and nothing to show for it. Don’t come here for your sake.

Dr. A was amazing! Unfortunately the check out people were not. She gave me a “roundabout “ total and didn’t even care to give me accurate totals with my insurance. I was ready to go through with my procedures until that. I still recommend.

Literally ripping their patient off I don’t know if the person their is qualified or no. Because after taking X-rays they told about filling for cavities. Gave me total of $1600 with cleaning and discount given 10% included. And wanting me to sign the paper if I was satisfied for best price n to seal the price of if I come later I refuse to sign it and they told me later I’ll go back they will charge me regular price. I visited different dentist got X-rays done dentist told I only need single filling u don’t have anymore. I wonder what this clinic trying to do? Unnecessary treatments? Or upcharging? And upselling services?

Dr. Siddiqi took care of my Moms dental needs ~ She was very professional and so courteous … the whole staff was very accommodating as well - 5 stars for sure.

Surprised that i came to do cleaning of my teeth they have been taking care of since 6 month ago only to declined me because i still have balance of $250 to pay out of $13,000 i have paid already.i am old them i should pay next week, yet they refused and said until i have the last balance.i consider this clinic unfit for good relationship with clients.too mindful of payments instead of client satisfaction and good jobs

Just got fillings with Dr Roberts. Best experience I’ve ever had, very minimal pain and my bite feels normal post procedure. Dr. Roberts has a great bedside manner and seems extremely detail oriented! As for the clinic I’ve always had a good experience here, appointments are usually available at convenient times, I appreciate that they provide lower cost but quality dental care!

I just left Ibn Sina after having to wait an 1.5 hours. I found out at the clinic that my insurance is not in network after I was assured it was over the phone with a Ibn Sina rep. I came for a wisdom tooth extraction, normally $500 a tooth, I was given a $112 per tooth discount with insurance. I was informed that it was due to the complexity of the tooth area. After further investigation, I found that I should have 70% coverage in network and Ibn Sina is out of network. I am thoroughly unimpressed like why lie!

Update: I asked for my x-rays to be sent to me. I was told I had to speak with the manager to get them. I sent an email request to which I have received no response. I called 5 times over the span of 6 hours to get ahold of the dental manager. He/She was on lunch two times I called, once the system was “down” and another time i was told they’d be back in an hour. On my last call, I got my x-rays sent to me without ever speaking to the manager even though I was told he/she was the only person who could release them. I am highly unimpressed.

I have been coming here for about a year and I absolutely love it. Everyone is very nice and makes me feel very comfortable. I always get reminded days piro about my appointments. The wait time is never long and I get a good understanding about pricing and what needs to be done.
