ICR Discovery Center reviews
18I loved my experience here at IRC. Everything was very clean, including well-kept bathrooms. I visited with my younger cousins who were 7 and 12 and my grandparents who were in their 50s. It was a fun trip for the entire family. We were all marveled by the extreme attention to detail and loved the fact that every part of the exhibit was either factual or biblical. Plus, the planetarium has 3 different showings, so we will be back!
This is the second time we've come and they've added even more interactive displays than were there 2 years ago! It's an amazing experience!
My children and we love this place. It is amazing and very inspiring. Thank you very much for creating this place. God bless
The ICR Discovery Center in Dallas, TX offers an interesting perspective on its approach to creationism. The integration of biblical stories with scientific evidence, coupled with modern touch screen explanations and exhibits, provides a well put together and thoughtful presentation. As a lifelong learner, I particularly found the theories challenging Darwinism, natural selection, and survival of the fittest very intriguing. This highlights the center's success in creating an engaging and thought-provoking environment. The inclusion of a planetarium adds an extra dimension to the overall experience. Enjoyed the museum.
This was a great experience! We will definitely be coming back. Awesome exhibits and very educational. We were a group of 12 (ages 11-49) and we all loved it!
Had an amazing, educational, and interactive time here with my wife today. The staff was very friendly and everything was clean and beautifully presented. This is a great place to visit for a few hours and learn about God's creation!
Went with our Coop. We had a great time. Very educational and fun. Will definitely come back with friends and family. It is worth the drive as it took a hour and a half.
If you question what your Bible states because what you have been told at school go here. You may have more questions but they will be about the supposed facts you were taught
Great experience here with the family. The exhibits are all very high quality. Great information. The planetarium is really neat. Lots of reading available so leave ample time if you want to go through all that is available. We will definitely be back!
Top drawer experience. Excelkent interactive displays. Good biblical theology. Educationally superb and appropriate for young children through senior adults. Staff was very helpful. Plenty of resources available at the store. Worth the entry fee.
Phenomenal exhibition and information. Loved the detail and Biblical facts tied to science
Beautiful displays and kind staff. Absolutely garbage information. Every exhibit wasted time disputing current beliefs rather than just teaching their side of the story. If you don’t want your children brainwashed, avoid this place.
Incredible experience! A must see. Wonderful for the kids. Lots of big screen presentations. Animals with moving parts. Dinosaurs that look real. Some move. They have an incredible replica of the ark. Staff are awesome.
AWESOME place. We spent almost 3 hours there. I usually rush through musuems etc according to my husband lol. We could have spent more time there but got too hungry so we went through the last third a bit quicker.
Little confusing where to go but asking for help is fairly easy. Clean facilities just a little logistically off. Bathrooms are decent. Great entertainment and general education on I believe the Scientology side of Christianity.
Other than that, it's good. Moving dinosaurs the kids loved and good lighting. Great place to use for an hour or two.
Very impressed by the ICR museum. Like faith-based movies with low production quality I expected this museum to be slightly boring and extra cheesy. Boy was I mistaken the ICR by far exceeded my expectations. What an amazing place for people to learn about creation with a biblical understanding of the age of the earth, universe, and dinosaurs. You will also learn some very good counter arguments against Darwinism and many other anti Christian theories. The garden of Eden section really captivated my kids, with some really cool mechanical dinosaurs and other animals. There is also a brief ice age movie that was very enlightening. Tons of great information brought together in very palatable bitesized chunks. My family really loved this place. If you are a Christian or even if you think young earth Christians are silly, this is a great place to get an education and have some fun.
For a small museum, it is chocked full of exhibits and information. What is amazing is there are experiments set up in a lab in the museum that can be watched over months progress. It is a beautiful and interesting place to visit. We have been many times and there is always something new to us.
This a decorated Bible school and you pay for it. Make sure your kids are aware of this place as this place has no connection with science. Instead of showing unicorn which is actually mentioned in Bible, they are displaying dinosaur which is not mentioned in Bible and claim laws of thermodynamics mentioned in Bible. Technically they neither teach Bible nor teach science. Felt bad as the excellent infrastructure is wasted with lies which is visible in your eyes. Science involves questioning and looking for something unknown with evidence and peer review. This place is designed to brainwash kids as believing is science and trying to convince what was already told was truth. I was shocked to see big human hands appear to create world and human beings. This place will brainwash your kids to believe there is a very very large male character (larger than universe) sitting there and creating human beings. Totally against science.
