I have been a customer with ideal dental for years at a different location and it was really good. I just recently moved to this area and I went to ideal dental belterra. They customer service is unprofessional. They added charges to my bill adding services I didn’t request for. They had wrong information about my profile so I had to make multiple calls for them to correct it. I also called multiple times to make sure I have the right insurance, they always say they will confirm and call back but they never do. At the end I ended up paying out of pocket since they didn’t do all the verification before my arrival. And I still couldn’t get them have the right information since no one properly responds to phone calls.extremely rude stuff

Very efficient front office, dental staff is professional and competent. Recommend without reservation.

Reception staff was friendly and inviting. The hygienist and dentist were also friendly. Dr. Dietrich was thorough in evaluating my teeth and even did the cleaning herself.

The staff are very kind but I feel rushed by the dentist, and it hurts when they grind on teeth without proper numbness. I could barely drive home because the medicine finally did take effect (after the procedure) and one of my eyes wouldn't shut and the other wouldn't open for a few hours. I miss Dr. Doan.

Great services, all very tentative. The whole staff always there to help. I recommend Ideal Dental @ Belterra.

Dr. Dietrich and Alex are top notch! It’s been many years since I’ve been to a dentist due to previous bad experiences. Dr. Dietrich and Alex made sure to take care of me and were very clear about the plan and ensuring I had a positive experience. I had a handful of fillings and a root canal completed and felt absolutely no pain. I had both Morning and afternoon appointments that were always on time. My husband has also seen Dr. Doan and has said the experience has been awesome. Thank you Ideal Dental for taking care of us.

Ideal Dental in Belterra is AWESOME! It’s been many moons since my last dentist visit and I was referred to this office near my work. Daisy was great with scheduling and getting me in after I showed up a tad late. Chris is an MVP; he walked me through everything then effectively executed. Dr. Dietrich was warm and welcoming. You can immediately tell she cares for each guest as if they are family. 5/5 stars and I already have my next appointment booked. Keep up the great work Ideal team!

The staff and Dr. Dietrich are exceptional. They were able to work me in for an emergency extraction and did an amazing job! So thankful and impressed with their professionalism and customer service.

I’ve been to a lot of dentists since I moved to Texas several years ago and I have finally found the best! Ideal Dental Belterra has the best staff, super friendly and professional. So happy with the crowns they just put in:)

This place is a scam. I went here for a cleaning but was told I had to do a consultation first for treatment options. They recommended only one treatment plan which would have cost me almost $1000 out of pocket even with my insurance. When I asked about just getting a cleaning instead they refused to treat me and I was told without getting the recommended treatment they would not treat me at all. I went to another dentist down the street and they told me that none of what I was told by ideal dental of belterra was true. Honestly I don’t know how this place is in business. Embarrassing to see businesses like this take advantage of people. Save your time and money by steering far away from this place.

What an amazing experience I had at this office! Chris, the assistant, and Dr. Dietrich were great! I have a lot of dental anxiety and they helped guide me every step of the way. Everything was thoroughly explained. The front office staff were so friendly and welcoming, as well. I would highly recommend this office!

Ideal dentist were very friendly and professional from the moment l walked in till I left. They were on time and my dentist, Dr. Dietrich was excellent. I hsd a complicated pre-crown procedure including a cavity in the same tooth. The procedure took a while but I felt no pain and later when the novacaine wore off, 2 Tylenol was all I needed and later and since then no pain. The temporary works great. No problems.i get the permanent crown in 2 weeks. Best of all, they took my insurance so my cost was very little. All around good experience from a dental visit

The front office staff is always friendly and helpful. The dental assistant today was kind and had a very calming voice that made it easy to feel relaxed. The dentist was great and answered my questions. My only concern is the fast turnover at this office. Every six months or so I see a new face. It’s hard to develop a working trust when each time I show up there is a different dentist. In fact, the front office staff and technicians were all new faces as well.

I've always had a pleasant experience with this place, but what caused me to write the review was my experience yesterday, 8/18/2023.

I knew I was due for a procedure soon, but I couldn't tell when, so I called and found out from their front office that I had actually missed my appointment by a week (I take full accountability on that; the reminders they send out? My phone did its' job TOO well and marked it as spam!). I was in a lot of pain, and the front office receptionist not only graciously said she would call other Ideal Dental locations to see if anyone could squeeze me in, but less than 10 minutes later, she said they could squeeze me in now if I made my way over!

Dr. Dietrich and all of the assistants that worked hard on trying to make sure I was out of pain last night were incredible, staying well after their business hours had closed to make sure I was comfortable and at ease with everything going on. As someone who works in healthcare myself, I seriously do appreciate all that this office did to make sure that I was out of pain and could save the tooth that caused me pain. Dr. Dietrich even called in today to make sure I was doing well after everything and not in any more pain! It's hard to find a doctor, let alone dentist, that cares about their patients' comfort that much.

I'm truly grateful for the team here, and I'll be recommending this place to my colleagues and friends who need a good dentist in the future. You guys rock! Keep up the great work and thank you to everyone in that office for such a pleasant experience once again!

Daisy, Tasha, Dr. Dietrich, and Dr. Doan are the best. The team there is very responsive to all forms of communication and patient needs. I came out of C-19 not having seen a dentist in several years. The team here helped me through fillings and having my wisdom teeth removed, which could not have gone better in my opinion. 5 stars

The care is top notch but they do get busy if you have an afternoon appointment. I sat in the chair 25 min after my X-rays to talk to the doctor, THEN I had a cleaning. I took 1 hr from start to finish. They will push you to do Invisalign but they are less pushy than I’ve experienced elsewhere. Office is clean and a lot of high tech equipment to help you on your dental journey.

Just had my first visit. I was very pleasantly surprised! Dr. Doan was very thorough and kind, and the staff was as well. Will definitely be back.

This place is awesome! Great use of tech, friendly staff, light paperwork, and a great Dr who genuinely cares and is solution oriented. I love coming here!
