I enjoy all of the people working at Ideal Dental they are always so kind, and my Doctor is the best Dentist I have seen. I can't wait until I get my Denture because they have showed to me that I going to be so happy when I get my Dentures. I can't wait to see how me face looks when I get them I have been hiding behind a mask you over a year now. I just want to be normal again, and smile for the first time in over a year. I want my life back, and I feel that they are the one to make me happy again. Catherine Townsend

The staff, hygienists, and Dr. Davis always make me feel welcome and comfortable. They get the job done, while also showing care.

Went there because my moler was hurting got x-rays. I had 3 abcesses And the dentist ryan davis did not try and prescribe me any medication To get rid of the infection, instead he just wanted to go in and hurry and do a cleaning and a root canal. Which I did not have the money for at the time and I told them I have Delta dental which is supposed to be 90% covered. I asked about 3 extractions instead of the procedures and they quoted me still 1300 out-of-pocket period I left, And was unable to be treated about a week later I was hurting again in the same areas bad to the point where I had to call the dentist and ask them why they did not prescribe me any medication to get rid of the infection. Because my mouth was hurting so bad finally prescribes me something, but it was too late. The infection had already gotten so bad, my face swollen. Had to go to the emergency room. Stay in the hospital for 2 days and had a CT scan done. Had to transfer hospitals cause no oral surgeon. People don't realize that the absence could get into your bloodstream. And it could cause death, and they were negligent on helping me. This could have been really bad. I ended up in Outpatient at another clinic that accepted my insurance. Midtown 3extractions with ivy sedation cost a $152. This place took Took my insurance and try to double charge by taking the insurance money and still charging me their actual price. Got the statement From insurance company Looks as if they did a double charge on a few. Don't recommend.

Great experience everyone was so kind and helpful! I went in for a wisdom teeth removal because I’ve been having pain for the past week, my last dentist seemed unconcerned of how bad my pain was when I went the day before to see what was wrong and I would have to wait a week until the oral surgeon would go in and I always had insurance issues. That same day I went home looked up Ideal Dental and Alan helped me out with my insurance and was quick about it and got my wisdom teeth removed the very next day! While my old dentist took them a full day to get back with me if I still wanted to continue with my procedure and had referrals for me but it was too late because I just had my wisdom teeth done! That’s how quick I got taken care of! The oral surgeon was very welcoming and kind got in and out in 45 mins! I will be coming back for my regular checkups now!:)

I was a little skeptical making an appointment because the majority of the reviews were back when it was Brush 32. When I called to ask if they were taking new patients they were able to schedule me the very next week. I only wanted a cleaning but they told me x-rays were required. I have insurance so I asked if it was covered and they said most likely. They said they couldn’t get me in for my cleaning for the initial appointment so I was bummed but needed a dentist in ATX. When I arrived I was brought back almost immediately. The x-rays were quick and easy and the tech was so nice and sweet. The technology they used seemed very high tech. They created a 3D picture of my teeth. I’m relatively young and I have been struggling with some gum recession for quite a while and I’m pretty embarrassed about it. Almost every dentist I’ve been to has made me feel like it’s been my fault and I hate talking about it. The dentist was so incredibly kind and he made me feel super comfortable. They were able to do my cleaning same day! They took their time with me and they were all so professional and nothing felt rushed. I had a really positive experience and I’m super happy I chose this dentist. I will be referring all my coworkers! Plus everyone working is very attractive especially the doctor lol. 10/10!

This place is an absolute scam. I don't understand the good reviews here. They are just out for your money. My insurance changed and I had to find a new dentist. Ideal Dental was covered by my insurance and nearby so I decided to give it a try. A few minutes after showing up, they start doing crazy amount of photos and x-rays only so they can push Invisalign on you at the end of your appointment. Mind you, my teeth are already pretty straight. The doctor was showing me the before and after on the screen of what my teeth would look like if I were to buy Invisalign with them, and the pictures looked identical. I understand if I came in asking for Invisalign or if my teeth were that crooked/messed up, but I never asked for this. Then, they start pushing some $45 irrigation treatment on me to help with cavities. I stupidly agreed to it. Fast forward 6 months later to my next appointment with them, I was told I had THREE cavities. They didn't even do an x-ray to confirm. I was shocked. I clean my teeth regularly and had never had any issues before. They pushed me to schedule time to fill the three cavities, but I never did. Instead, I decided to change dentists and get another opinion in 6 months when it was time for my cleaning. Today, I just got back from my cleaning with my new amazing dentist, only to be told that these are in fact stains and NOT cavities. Thank goodness I didn't let Ideal Dental do any work. Also after both appointments with Ideal Dental, I got a letter from my insurance company that I might owe $600 after my routine teeth cleaning. I was never billed, but they are clearly doing unnecessary things in their treatment process and trying to put it all through insurance. I recommend avoiding this place at all cost. There are plenty of reputable dentists around, Ideal Dental is not one of them.

I had been looking for a new dentist in the Austin area and I am so glad I chose Ideal Dental. Such a friendly and professional environment/staff. You can tell they really care about their patients and best treatment plans for you. Will be making them my permanent choice in the area. Thank you!

I went a few months back to get a constellation through my insurance, which in my personal opinion was over priced and was not informed initially that there was a co payment. Almost 3 months later and I am getting a bill. Very disappointed and would not recommend

This has been my dentist for the last few years in Austin. They do the little things (like having TVs in front of each chair and providing sunglasses during the cleaning) that make a dentist visit more comfortable. Everyone on the staff is so nice and friendly. The staff really make it an enjoyable experience (as much as going to the dentist can be)! I know some reviews mention this practice being a little pushy with selling additional services. I have not experienced that. Overall, I’ve had a great experience with this dental practice.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in several years and was nervous about finally seeing one. I’ve had two appointments at Ideal, which my insurance covers and had great experiences. The pricing is really reasonable and I was able to get a good cleaning as well as several fillings quickly. Dr. Ryan and Alan were so kind, welcoming, and professional. They made sure I was comfortable, were fast and efficient, and did a great job on my teeth. My smile looks great and I feel really comfortable going back. Ashmeen was also so lovely, making sure I fully understood the estimate of services for my second appointment and making me feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you all!

Only came here because they have openings, which should’ve been my first red flag. I do not recommend retail or franchised dentists. I felt like they don’t care about their patients, just quotas. I got a lot of bad advice that benefited the center but not my financial or personal wellbeing.

Wonderful clinic and I had great doctor! I got my pain concerns taken care of with a desensitizer treatment that I have never been offered elsewhere before and it worked. No drilling without need.
My appointment was on time without any extra waits. I highly recommend this clinic.

Staff is friendly, and thorough in their explanation of what is happening with teeth. I really enjoyed my visit, and could not be happier that I found my new dentist for years to come.

SUCH a fast, smooth and friendly experience! X-rays and full appointment done within an hour of my appt start time. Dr Ryan is such a kind person, he immediately made me feel at ease and totally free of judgement. I felt like he had nothing but time and made sure absolutely any questions I had were answered. The office staff are SO friendly and had costs calculated lightening fast. Truly the best healthcare experience I’ve ever had, would recommend to anyone.

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They also have at least one Saturday available each month. Nice place and people.
