All and all I feel this program is the best for the youth today. The stay on their phones anyway. Let them learn!

Terrible! I don’t recommend this for anyone! The pacing is wayyyyy too fast! I have up to 11 assignments in ONE class (I am unfortunately taking 6) Believe the other reviews, because they are sooo true. The teachers can’t explain a thing, and take forever to respond! Very disappointed!

Edgenuity is a spectacular platform for online learning. It has been one of my favorites ever since K12!

Noticeable Positives:

-Working Ahead
It is possible to continue working on your studies even when they aren't due yet! This allows you to provide yourself with more time to your schedule while being able to pace ahead. If your schedule is tight than Edgenuity is perfect for you.

-Calm Environment
Like many, my classes take place inside of my house and at my desk. You are able to work in an area you are familiar with. This allows your stress levels to decrease and make you feel more comfortable!

-Breakfast / Lunch
Maybe you don't prefer the selections at the cafeteria as many stated before. Though, you get to enjoy whatever you have stocked up in your house! So while you are doing a quiz, you could be enjoying your favorite snack.

-Teacher Participation
Many people seem to dislike the pre-recorded, dated videos. While yes, that is bad for students, yet teachers still do get involved. They'll send you messages (which also appear on Office 365) and congratulate you for your progress!

-Quick Response Times
Sometimes, students may end up in a pickle and require some assistance. Edgenuity has easy to access tools to contact your teacher or request help on the spot! If you feel nervous about not turning a project in on-time, don't worry help will be on its way soon!

Noticeable Negatives:

-Exercise / Gym
When you are an Edgenuity student, you are responsible for your own well-being and fitness. Most schools have gym activities and equipment, but working from home means you don't have access to all of those luxuries. This can lead to possible weight gain and unhealthy habits.

-Socializing
Students aren't able to socialize with their classmates and peers as often as they used too. This could have negative affects down the line as it may be more difficult for them to speak up and be themselves.

-Certain Videos
Some videos on Edgenuity are indeed outdated and should be brought up to standards. Though, that isn't a noticeable problem as you still are gaining valuable knowledge and understanding how to do things. One issue I have is the length of these videos though! Some can range from being twenty+ minutes long!
Students are still growing and learning beings, some may not have a grasp on having a decent attention span and cannot fully process everything they are learning all at once.

-Glitches / Going Down
Edgenuity can encounter specific issues that may set some students behind a bit in their classes. These problems I am speaking off are nothing major though, simple errors that get fixed quickly.
1. Edgenuity going down; Sometimes when you log-in, you'll be faced with a crash message, indicating that Edgenuity will be down for a while meaning you cannot complete your assignments until then.
2. Sometimes when you have completed a course, it can appear as "Unfinished" and you won't be able to submit it. This can be bad until you learn that you just need to contact a teacher for it to be fixed. But it can still be a hassle! (Also, the student can easily play a role in this for leaving the course to quickly before it can process that you've finished it.)

These are just a few positives and negatives, there are still many more! Especially when it comes to the positives.

Take it in consideration that many of the negatives are what other cyber-school's face as well! Many of these reviews aren't fully truthful and they shouldn't stop you from placing your child in Edgenuity!
As an honest student, I can confirm it is useful, educative, and very helpful in progressing its students to a brighter future.

It teaches false information and lack common sense. It is also SUPER old, im pretty sure it was last updated in 2011! 10 years ago bruv. Lags a lot don't recommend.

If there was a rating below one star i would review edgenuity as that edgenuity is terrible for children of all ages this is the worst ive ever done in school in my life, they dont teach you anything its just quiz after quiz everyday all it has done for me is put me in a stressed and anxious state.

Lifeless teachers and just outdated! They don't think about what the students want and they just think how they want it.its sad how they didn't update the website in 10+ years and yet school systems still use it. I don't recommend this and if your stuck with it, I wish you luck!

I literally put pizza as the answer on 5 written responses and still made a 90. This whole place is dookie. The camera quality is worse than even 1998 vhs recorders at times. Just straight cabage.

Edgenuity's products are carefully designed and with the student and educator in mind. Great company culture!
