I recently had the pleasure of visiting Inkery Tattoo in Austin, Texas, where I had the incredible opportunity to work with talented artist Ella. I can not express enough gratitude for the exceptional job she did in saving my arm sleeve.

From the moment I walked into the studio, I felt welcomed by the friendly and professional staff. The atmosphere at Inkery Tattoo is clean, comfortable, and exudes creativity, making it the perfect place to get inked. The entire team, including Ella, demonstrated a high level of expertise and passion for their craft.

When I initially approached Ella with my concerns about my existing arm sleeve, she listened attentively and reassured me that she could help salvage it. Her extensive knowledge of tattooing and her keen eye for detail immediately put me at ease. She took the time to carefully analyze the existing design, colors, and lines, considering the overall aesthetics and my personal preferences.

Throughout the process, Ella displayed exceptional skill, precision, and creativity. She expertly blended new elements into my sleeve, seamlessly incorporating them with the existing artwork. Her talent for color matching was remarkable, as the new additions seamlessly blended with the original work, giving my arm sleeve a cohesive and harmonious appearance.

Ella's artistic ability and attention to detail truly set her apart. She meticulously worked to enhance the intricate details of my sleeve, meticulously shading and highlighting to breathe new life into the piece. Her commitment to perfection was evident in every stroke of the needle.

Moreover, Ella's professionalism and friendly demeanor made the entire experience enjoyable. She actively engaged in conversation, creating a relaxed and comfortable environment. She patiently answered my questions, offering valuable insights and suggestions to ensure the final result exceeded my expectations.

I am beyond thrilled with the outcome of my arm sleeve thanks to Ella's incredible talent and dedication. She not only saved my tattoo but transformed it into a true work of art. I have received countless compliments and have recommended Ella and Inkery Tattoo to everyone who has admired my sleeve.

If you're in Austin, Texas, and looking for a skilled and talented tattoo artist, I wholeheartedly recommend Ella at Inkery Tattoo. (By appointment only of course) Her artistic prowess, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor make her an exceptional choice for your tattooing needs. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Ella did my tattoo and I’m extremely distraught over it. At first I thought perhaps it was the ink staining my skin from the second skin but nope! It’s just good-old blowout. Lines are inconsistent and you can see blown out patches, shaky lines and god knows what else (update: I have scars from how deep she tattooed me- no surprise considering the blowout) I should have ran the second my arm wasn’t shaved before the tattoo. I feel disgusting that I have a botched tattoo that I have to spend thousands to get removed. I regret the time and money I spent on this and honestly think I shouldn't have even been charged as much as I was for this rushed and shoddy work. Even worse I tipped on top of this as well, if only I had known better… If I could take back getting this work done I would. I hate the rest of my sleeve and the skin I’m in now just because of how awful this turned out. Design-wise sure, Ella might have a vision… tattoo-wise, run far far away unless you want to spend thousands on a coverup or laser removal and still possibly have scars.

-update-
While I thought I did appreciate Ella reaching out to me, all she did was avoid taking accountability… she said and I quote “after all i am a person who has their good and bad days, as much perfection as i would love to produce it just won't always be like that” all I said to this was “And to address your remark… I'm afraid [not getting] blowout is the very least an experienced tattoo artist can guarantee.if it was just shaky linework I wouldn't be as upset but it's not just that, it's that and the blowout. ” I followed up with an email stating I had a tattoo removal session for a couple hundred dollars (attached the appt & everything) and would like for her to rectify the situation by sending me the $ for just that single appt to hopefully fix the blowout, & after she came back into the country from a trip she told me she sent me the money for the blowout & then never did for 2 weeks and then finally emailed me back after said 2 weeks & said she basically lost my venmo or it didn’t go through (even tho i included it in the emails saying I never received anything) and now she said that she would only send the tip back instead of the $377 for my compensation to hopefully clear the blowout she did on me. All I wanted was accountability and communication & even to the very end she blamed her lack of communication on her processing a breakup (which she didn’t have the curtesy to even tell me if that was her reason that was holding her up from sending me my money- tho ofc she selectively only mentioned that she wasn’t ignoring me while out of the country and not the fact that she ignored me for the 2 wks while she was in the country and that i sent her 2 emails that she also ignored until i emailed CS). Also the cherry on top was her sending me a photo of the liability form essentially saying she isnt responsible for the blowout, scarring or shaky lines bc liability form means no accountability for her lack-there-of quality of work- also was extremely convenient that she “lost” my venmo but could find the liability paperwork to take a photo of within the same hour of denying my venmo request.

Be careful who y’all get tattooed by, stay safe out there. Lastly, if you blame having a bad day on producing this quality of a tattoo (and your communication skills) then consider not being in this profession as you can’t really have a bad day considering you’re dealing with putting permanent ink on a human-being.

Here’s to the next 3-4 years of my life and thousands of dollars in tattoo removal bc I never want to see this on me and be reminded of how horribly i was treated after the fact.

This whole place is wonderful, and Scott is incredible. He did my SILs tattoos and I was blown away. I'm even more impressed with the work he's done on me. He's a great guy and his talent with a tattoo gun is incomparable.
