We have been with Innova Psychiatric for a few years now. Dr Sharma is always attentive to our needs and concerns. He has been so supportive and caring when we were going through rough patches. His approach to change are never drastic which I appreciate especially dealing with young kids. I will definitely continue to recommend Innova Psychiatric and Dr Sharma!

We have had a very positive experience with Innova Psychiatric Group for 7+ years. My son has severe autism and several other diagnoses. Admittedly, my son is a very tough patient to treat, with the inability to verbalize and engagement in extreme behaviors. Dr. Sharma has always remained caring, supportive, and knowledgeable. He has a deep understanding of not just psychiatry, but also of autism and other disorders. Over the years, Dr. Sharma has met with other specialists who see my child. He did this on his own time so that a collaborative approach could be taken when additional medical issues surfaced. I have a Master’s in Counseling so seeing a provider who really listens, analyzes the full scope of the situation, and then gives insightful feedback is imperative to me. I could take my child to another provider easily, however, I choose to drive from a different town for my son to see Dr. Sharma. I will always be grateful for his unwavering determination to best help my son, who is now much, much better thanks to his help.

I have good results here, but poor response to leaving messages. I left a message on labor day about needing a medicine refill and got no response or call to pharmacy. I left another message on Friday.

This is honestly the best psychiatrist office I've ever been to. I've received treatment through medication for years and Dr. Sharma fought really hard for me to get TMS approved. Everyone is very nice and really cares about your problems! I am highly appreciative of Innova Psychiatric, I would not go to another psychiatric office. I highly recommend them!

Despite having an incredible relationship with my provider, I was denied further care and interestingly enough it happened when I was scheduling my child for an appointment with a different provider who I preferred and is African American from the one she was assigned to. They have stated that it was due to missing appointments, though this has not been an issue in the past, and when I offered to provide documentation as proof for the necessity to miss certain appointments, I was denied to do so. Nonetheless, even if that wasn’t the case and didn’t have “legitimate” reasons, they have treated me for my mental health! They are aware I struggle with ADHD because I was a patient there and they have history of how ADHD affects every aspect of my life. The most recent appointment missed was due to me dealing with my child being bullied and I hyperfocused on trying to resolve the matter. I was willing to provide a doctors note and school documents to prove that the appointment was missed due to the safety of my child. I begged for compassion and understanding but received condescending remarks and cruel words. I feel as though they tried to utilize their policy to prevent my child from being seen by the minority provider I requested since I was not even allowed the opportunity show proof for appointments being missed nor was I given any type of warning in the matter.

I had both of my sons go to Innova over the past few years and I have come to find out that the level of care isn't what I was hoping for as they hit their mid-teen years. In both instances, the same NP, Heather really didn't provide the level of care and attention that was needed in both cases. There was really only two options. Increase medicine or change medicine. There wasn't a deep dive as things didn't improve. I truly felt there was a lack of empathy and desire to really help my kids. We felt like a case number and not a patient. I made my opinions very clear with them over my past 2-3 visits. In the end we left for another practice who has been able to make immediate positive changes for my boys. While I want to really say more negative things about my experience here, I will refrain. I made my displeasure known with the supervising doctor already.

Please try to seek to be better, spend more than 10 minutes on a check in and marking off boxes. Dig in and really do more than just "processing" a patient. They need help!

Had an appointment with Stephanie Alexander PA. She didn't listen to anything I told her then prescribed me medicine that made my symptoms 10 times worse plus added a few extra side effects that I didn't have before when I called to tell her I think she put me on the wrong med bc it was making me worse she was rude told me I didn't know what I was talking about then hung up on me. Save yourself $350 if I are someone like me that doesn't have insurance and can't afford to waste your money be misdiagnosed or put on medicine that makes you feel way worse then u did before u saw them.
