Intelfix Appliance Repair reviews
13Avoid! I've been without a refrigerator for weeks now because I cannot get them to answer or call me back. I've left messages, my fiance has left messages and no one will call back. I am extremely disappointed in how their business is conducted. They are not professional in the slightest. Avoid!
DO NOT use this company! They don’t call you back and promise action you never receive. Very unprofessional and worst appliance repair company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with!
They still charge diagnose fees even if you hire them for repairs, and they never answered your phone. You have to leave a message, it’s like you gotta beg them to respond. I don’t know why they ranked so high.
Great customer service -the service is very timely - very knowledgeable and professional-fixed the problem-
DO NOT USE THEM!
Had an appointment and they no showed and then lied about it. Don’t waste your time, you could do so much better, find anybody but these clowns.
After scheduling a dryer repair and being told to expect a courtesy call when the technician was on his way, I was surprised to see a man wearing the Intelfix shirt at my front door. Also, he was not driving a company vehicle as I had expected. He did not introduce himself or call me by name. After I explained the problem to him, he said it needed a new starter switch. He performed no diagnostics. The part was ordered, found to be defective at the warehouse, another one was ordered and it was installed. This did not fix the dryer. He then said it needed a motor relay, again without any diagnostics. That was not the problem either.
Then he brought the lead technician with him who attempted to make repairs. They took the dryer to the shop for diagnosis and repair. Neither technician had circuit testers with them. A new control board was installed which fixed the dryer. When it was returned, the springs for the door were detached and loose under the drum. And a sound-proofing pad was loose above the drum. I called a different appliance repair company to fix these items. I learned the hard way not to use companies recommended by Best Pick Reports.
Had to use them with our home warranty company that was nothing short of a six-month nightmare. Our high end stainless steel kitchen aid $1000 model less than 2 years old.suddenly the upper rack broke and would not stay in place. Our terrible home warranty company sent out Intelfix and again the only thing was wrong was the actual rack in our beautiful dishwasher broke nothing else. We just needed a new rack but they proceeded to take apart the entire machine constantly and destroyed it over a period of several months because we were stuck with our home warranty company. Who takes apart a motor when the upper rack is just broken? Once they touched the machine it never operated correctly again.it made horrific noises, they put in new control panel, new motors WHICH IT NEVER NEEDED! FROM THE FIRST DAY THEY TOUCHED IT IT WOULD NEVER OPERATE AGAIN CORRECTLY OR SAFELY! In fact we couldn't run it for fear it would burn down our house. THE NOISE IT MADE IF YOU ATTEMPTED TO TURN IT ON SOUNDED LIKE A CAR WAS GOING TO BLOW UP. We ended up having to get a brand new dishwasher all because of them. They visited us multiple times attempting to " work on the machine "when they only made it worse every time! They even threw away the insulation that wraps around the machine that keep it quiet pretending that we wouldn't notice. However there technician just put it in our own trash for us to discover. I am writing review over the correct company because I have every invoice from them. I stress we would have stopped using them after the very first visit however we were unfortunately held prisoner by the Home warranty company that refused to let any other contractor service it.
Alex diagnosed my double oven that the lower oven fan motor needed replacing. He came back as promised on date and time that I had requested. Did an excellent job. I would definitely use again. Was very knowledgeable and left everything clean before leaving. Thanks agin for the excellent service A+
Intelfix was absolutely fantastic! I called them for a 2nd opinion on a hard-to-open fridge door and Intelfix corrected the problem for a reasonable price (a whole lot less than the Sears sub-contractor who suggested the fix would cost $700). Antonio was professional and took the time to figure out just exactly what was wrong, unlike the 1st guy. I will recommend this company to anyone who needs appliance repair.

Had a fridge that wasn't cooling diagnosed for $50. Tech spent <10 minutes and determined the control board was shot. Spent 20 minutes writing up an estimate to repair. Bought and replaced the control board and the fridge worked for about 6 hours before it stopped cooling again. So the control board wasn't the root problem. $50 wasted + cost of replacement board.
Had a service tech out for a diagnostic on a fridge that wasn't cooling. The tech determined the board needed replacement and quoted a price of $440 parts and labor. Since the fridge is 10 years old and a new replacement would be $1,000 I declined to have the work done. The issue was when i tried to inquire how he determined it was the board that was faulty his reply was "I have my tricks. " And when i asked what goes into replacing the board he said "I cant tell you that. " The house call cost $50 so it's reasonable to expect an explanation of his assessment. Instead it felt like a sleazy attempt at an upsell. 2 stars for being on time.
Our double ovens were not working. Antonio diagnosed the problem exactly. He ordered the parts, put them in and voila, ovens work again and we're back in business! Thank you for the great service!
Finally all my problems are over! Hasan was really nice guy. Polite and knowledgeable. Thank you Intelfix!
Great service, repair was done on time and works great. I would recommend this company to anyone.
