Intero is well worth the hype. Absolutely loved everything about it, food, atmosphere, service, drink options, everything. Focaccia, bucatini and brown butter cake are MUST gets if you get lucky and they are in the menu. Make sure to try some of their homemade chocolate truffles. This is one of the best meals I’ve had and so glad it’s here at home in Austin.

The bucatini was cooked to perfection, and the creamy gouda sauce was a perfect delicious complement! The pizza was also doughy with a perfectly flavored arrabiata sauce. Best Italian restaurant I've been to in Austin!

This place is nothing short of magical. I almost didn't want to review it because others knowing about it will cause an influx of new reservations, and then I'll never be able to eat here again. First off, the entire menu is delicious! Secondly, I have food allergies, and they took the menu to the chef, who then marked up what he'd be able to modify for me, and it was over half the menu! This never happens for me, and I'm usually lucky to be able to have 3-4 items to choose from. The menu rotates based on season and produce from their farm. Very cozy romantic atmosphere, and the patio is well heated and enclosed for a very luxe private feel. I recommend booking now while this place is still a hidden gem.

Excellent dinner experience tonight at Interio. Buddy recommended it and now I am recommending it. Pasta and dessert both excellent.

Probably the best Italian place in all of Austin! Everything here is farm to table from local farmers throughout Texas. Everything was absolutely delicious! We had the sourdough with ricotta, Wagyu beef appetizer, and for entrees we had the bucatini (you HAVE to get this if you come here), the bbq duck tortellini, and the red snapper (my absolute favorite). For desert we had the truffle chocolates and the brown sugar cake! Everything was absolutely delicious. Thankfully I parked right near the entrance otherwise I would have needed to be carried to my car I was so full. Perfect date night spot! Our server Jeremy was great as well

Look y’all, the hostess is mean here. Not sure how else I can put it. She’s unhelpful regardless of whether you’re on time (expect a 20* minute wait with no comped drinks) on a Friday night. Wish I had gone to one of the many lovely Italian restaurants in the nearby area just to avoid this interaction.

This chef-owned restaurant just keeps getting better. Ian and Krystal have created a warm and welcoming space out of a former machine shop - no small feat - and offer creative and delicious Italian-inspired food, sweets and cocktails, all made with high quality seasonal ingredients. We’ll go back - again!

My fiancé and I had the please of celebrating our anniversary there tonight. It was such an amazing experience. The restaurants interior is beautiful. Every bit of the staff was so very polite and kind to the both of us, and the food was so amazing word couldn’t describe it. Thank you very much for the extremely wonderful and thoughtful experience you provided us!

Fried risotto was good but overpriced. Tiny portions. Both entrees we had were just pasta and gnocchi which is just potatoes. 38$ for mine with no protein. Mine (ravioli) tasted like a stuffed baked potato. I imagine it's what astronauts food tastes like.

I visit the place twice, food was always delicious, atmosphere is great and you don't feel to be in crowded place. Service is nice and professional, but for my taste too over reacting.
If someone is looking for Italian food in Austin you should go there.

Absolutely great place for a special dinner out. Excellent service, beautiful space, and the food and drinks are wonderful. Highly recommend trying a cocktail, we stopped several between us and they were all excellent. Every dish we tried was truly delicious, from shared small plates to dessert. Have been twice and it was a stellar experience each time. Highly recommended.

Food was amazing and I was pleasantly surprised by some of the substantial portion sizes. Also really enjoyed how special the waitstaff made celebrating our anniversary.

Loved the service and ambiance. My favorite was the focaccia bread with ricotta, very fresh and delicious. Some of the pasta dishes were not for my palate but I enjoyed most of their dishes. And the brown butter cake dessert and truffles are must try.

It's a solid American-Italian restaurant in Austin, but the menu was a bit of a letdown. It was a perfect example of Italian food for Americans.

The ambiance is dark and romantic, making it a good spot for a date night.

We had a hard time choosing what to order as the menu was lacking compared to Italian restaurants we've had in Chicago. A couple of dishes we had were off-balanced, for example, the duck confit casoncelli. The elements were designed for American taste, with sweet potato and sage brown butter sauce making the dish too sweet and not pairing well with the oily stuffed duck confit. We also took the recommendation to order grilled cabbage, but the cheese and mustard were too sour and didn't work well with the charred cabbage. (There are more but I won’t write this much)

I also dislike the concept of spending an entire menu to tell a farm-to-table story. In my opinion, farm-to-table is one of the biggest scams in the restaurant industry. Most restaurants at this caliber buy their produce from local or non-local farms.

Overall, it's not a bad restaurant in Austin, but why can’t we have the same level of Italian restaurants as Chicago? Not sure I will be back - on a scale of 10, it falls about 6.5/10.

Classic country Italian food. You will not find heavy tomato use nor Parmesan cheese for a change! So good. Parking. Wifi. Handmade Pasta.
