Interstate All Battery Center, Tyler TX

Friday 11/3/23 I stopped by to drop off 3 used car batteries. It's been customary that car batteries when returning have a core return that's worth anywhere from $4 to $10 depending on where you go. I walked in and let the attendant know I had 3 batteries. He grabbed a dolly and came to my truck where I helped load them onto his dolly. His response once loaded was, "Thank you! That will be all. " I looked at him for a second to make sure he was actually not going to pay me. That was his intent. I asked him if they are still giving a core fee since I've been there in the past and knew this. His response was "It's not really worth it. It's only $4 per battery. " He actually wanted me to leave without being paid. I informed him that $4 per battery times 3 was $12 and would buy "my" lunch and not "his". I have no doubt I'm not the first this has happened to.
I give them zero stars but in order to post this I had to give at least 1 star. I won't be using this store anymore.
I keep seeing in your response to these negative comments that you can't find any record of their visits. There hasn't been a time I've been in their store that my driver's license wasn't asked for and recorded per my purchases as well as other customers I'm sure.

Best place in town for batteries. They have hard to find products. Search all over town, but you'll still come back to interstate. The guys were very helpful and found me exactly what I needed.

Unfortunately my AGM batteries were prematurely worn due to me not knowing to switch my inverter to gel cell when I had installed them. The guys at Intrastate in Tyler also made me a new jumper cable. I anticipate years of dependable use from my new wet cells now that I have a better understanding of how to maintain them. Thanks Interstate.

They were very helpful in getting what I thought was a bad battery, recharged and reconditioned. They also told me what to look for that may have caused the battery to go down to just 2 volts in the first place. They then offered to have me bring the car by to see if the alternator was recharging the battery. Very helpful and knowledgeable, and did it with a smile.

Love the people that work there. Don't remember the names but they are always pleasant and up beat Very knowledgeable and helpful with any problem you may have Just enjoy going in to a clean store with helpful people

The associate knew exactly the battery I needed and immediately offered to check the garage door opener for corrosion. He was super helpful.

The battery in my Honda CR-V wasn't holding a charge, and I didn't feel like waiting at Firestone for 2+ hours (how long it took to put the current dead battery in). The man and woman (sorry, didn't get their names) were SUPER helpful, super polite, and made the whole process painless! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes! I will DEFINITELY be bringing my business, and anyone else's business who will let me brag, back to this Interstate exclusively!

Scott explained the capability’s and advantages of the boat battery I boat. He also took a look at the battery in my truck and made suggestions about replacing it. Very knowledgeable.

I went there to buy my grandson a battery for his Ag project. Most retail stores were closed but Interstate was open and supplied the correct battery at the right time. Great job!

If no one else has your battery take it to the Interstate All Battery Center. The can rebuild it and they are unbelievably quick.

Personally speaking, helping my husband during a difficult time rite now, Keith & Jay @INTERSTATE on the loop are the Best and most reliable!
