I wouldn't believe all the positive reviews probably there own employees posting. I walked in and it felt very unwelcoming, clean store yes but very messy how they dumped certain beads on the table and baskets. My fingers turned black having to dig through those beads. I ask a question regarding beads stuck together and got a rude tone in there voice. Found certain beads but probably not returning back. Felt as if they didn't want you there.

OMG! The selection was amazing! Prices varied from very reasonable to exorbitant and all points in between. We spent over an hour just enjoying. Barely covered the bottom of my basket and spent $320. But I'm super pleased with my selection! The girls were very helpful!
I know where to go for all my bead needs!

Went a couple hours ago just to see what was offered here, my first experience was amazing! Quality of the beads are stunning! Everything is well organized and cleaned.staff was very helpful in explaining how it worked.i am pleased with my experience & will be back soon!

I bought 2 strands of supposed Lapis Lazuli. What I got looks like colored glass. They labeled it cat eye lapis. Now I don't trust the other items I bought.

Let me start out by saying the quality of their products are top notch. It is the customer service that I am giving this review. My dealings were with a person named Laura. I’m not sure how this all happened but the first time my address was wrong. The box went back. Laura told me to sign into my account and put in my correct address which I did. Second order, same thing wrong wrong address. Laura again told me to wait, and she would send out the box. The box was sent back on the 10th, still no sign of it after 12 days. I asked Laura to send me another box, which any good vendor would do. When I asked for a new box to be sent or a refund, I got the refund after writing twice to Laura. No offer to send a new box. It’s a shame to treat customers as she does. Again, their product is beautiful, but someone needs to speak with Laura about her conduct as the face of the company.

So I walked in thinking, "Cool, I'll check out the beads and other goodies this store may have. " The first think I noticed was the size of the store. When I opened the door and saw row after row of beads, I knew I would need more time to look around. The owners were very nice. They explained that the prices were wholesale with percentages off when ready to complete purchase. There were cute beads for kids, up to natural gem beads such as Jasper, Adventurine, Amethyst, and Agate. You name it and they had it. I was ready to build my jewelry on the spot with all of the beautiful beads. I definitely need to go back with an idea of what I want, as my mind flew into overdrive with possibilities.

UPDATE: So, Intrinsic Trading has moved to the Parmer and 1431 area. It feels so much bigger at their new location. I've since started my own jewelry making business and frequent them a whole lot more. Still as fantastic as always. I recommend taking photos of the beads as you buy them, as not every string has a label. Items are clearly marked if no label, and the staff are so nice and helpful. The pictures I've added include pieces I've made with their beads as well as some of the bead bins with their prices. When going in person, you will pay half the dealer price. So, if $12 is posted, you actually only pay $6.

Customer service was very rude, she even didn't verify the prices if tag is not there and enter whatever she feel like ‍️
She is very unpolite, unwelcoming, and rude.

To say that this place has a large variety & diverse selection of beads is an understatement!

And you cannot beat the price.
High quality/ low prices is always a winning combination!

Very friendly. Clean and staff that knows about beads. ADA wheelchair accessible. They have a class room which is nice separated from the shop which is also a plus.

I tried their website. They didn’t send me all of my beads. So I reached out to let them know. I was missing just 2 strains of beads and they told me they have video footage of these being placed in my package. This was a lie. It should not be so much of a big deal to resend when a company makes an error but this is the first company I ever dealt with that lied to me and refused to make things right. Laura is no help at all. I thought I found a good company for my business. NO I WILL TAKE MY MONEY ELSEWHERE. LIARS AND SCAMMERS

This bead store is one of my favorite shops to come to! For anyone interested in gemstones & crystals.this is the place to come. I recently moved to Austin and I love to make jewelry in my free time, this place has been my main source for beads! The prices are amazing, especially considering these are all REAL gemstones, that is hard to come by! The staff is always so helpful and I appreciate the extra care for their customers and staff by requiring masks for safety during this time. 100% recommend this store!:)

HUGE variety, beautiful selection. It's like the Costco of crystals. I wish that I could buy individual beads instead of just whole strands! However, pricing is sketchy. In-store prices are great but online is another story, there is some outrageous price-gouging happening on their website. And if you shop in-store, make sure you know exactly how much your stuff should cost or they might overcharge you - on my very first visit I got overcharged for 2 items and they refused to honor the price on the label for one of them. Long story short, I'll definitely shop there again because I love the products, but the customer service and weird pricing is a turn-off.

I bought two strands of blue tigers eye beads. About halfway through of making a bracelet, I noticed my finger turned blue. I removed all the beads & the stretchy string turned blue as well. Disappointing!

Lots of Jewelry making findings, and gems beads galore. Expensive and beautiful, if you go expect to be amazed.
