Intrinsically Safe Store, Houston TX

Stay away. It’s a scam store.

Ordered product. They replied later they didn’t actually have stock in the product.
Okay, maybe that happens but….

Instead of a refund, they asked me if I wanted to buy something else instead. Weird, red flag one.

I answered “No, I want a refund of my $1,419.25” and that was the last communication I would receive from them. I asked repeatedly for my refund. No response, Zero.

I finally had to file a charge back via my credit card company. Which was, months later, approved. I’m guessing because they didn’t reply to them either. My CC company shows me communications attempts and no response.

While I did get my money back, it was because of a good CC company. This scam store would not refund.

Customer service helped me with a replacement of a intrinsically clock and the resolution was faster than I thought, people are very friendly and helpful, and they really put efforts on solve our problems, definitely will keep them in mind for future projects.

I ordered a large supply of tablet cases for my company online and received the equipment in good condition. Getting the items took a bit longer than I expected, but after calling in they gave me an update which was pretty accurate. Will order again in the future. We use ipads regularly on our roofing projects. After three of the "high end drop/life proof" cases from amazon/best buy failed to do their job- I decided it made sense to go for the best. Yes, it's expensive but yes, it works. Wish I would have gotten one of these cases from the start- it would have been less expensive overall, plus its a conversation starter with potential customers.

$400 shipping for 4 tiny cameras. $67 credit card fee.
No call back to dispute the shipping charge. Beyond annoyed.

By mistake and misleading advertisement we ordered 2 IPAD 11 pro “intrinsically safe “ cases on a Friday. I cancelled order the following Monday and they stated that they cannot cancel order since order has been processed already. This is now 2 weeks ago and they are still processing, no shipment has been arranged even I asked for cancellation. They are claiming 24/7 support. I tried to ring them dozens of times from Australia, nobody is picking up the phone. Online chat too I submitted request for a chat guess what no reply.
Per definition a case cannot be intrinsically safe, see picture IEC 60079-14: 2013. This shop looks to me like a scam. Mary Cox is replying to my request of cancellation since a few days now that the manger needs to look into this and she will come back to me but I guess she never will. DO NOT buy any thing here.
I submitted BBB complaint.
11/9/19 almost 3 weeks since order no resolution in sight they did not sent items and no refund
01/10/19 now it is more than 6 weeks and still no delivery and refund they just took 5000USD and that's it, how can they get away with this
17/10/19 no delivery no refund they actually committed theft and fraud of 5000USD
26/11/19 still nothing I guess the moeny is gone these guys are criminals, do not touch them, all the good reviews are fake, just look the guys up posted them

We bought our very first intrinsically safe case for iPhone 8+ at Intrinsically Safe Store and everything was great from the time we placed our order up to delivery. The case arrived in great shape inside the box with Zone 2 certification. I was a smooth transaction all the way and can't complain about the price. They have been the lowest I've seen online. It was worth giving this store a try. Will come back for their iPhone 11 case. We need 3 in our department.

I feel bad for Intrinsically Safe Store to be labelled as scam when in fact, they're not. They made it known to us that shipping will be delayed for the 3 Ecom tablets that we purchased which was not an issue to our company. We are not buying ordinary equipment here, these are intrinsically safe products that need inspection and testing. We bought IS tablets in the past that never arrived but this store delivered what they promise. I don't see any reason why we can't trust this store. They have been the best so far with regards to fulfilling our orders.

I've been looking for a trusted brand of Intrinsically Safe iPhone cases for our Refinery. This store has them. It was delivered on time and have been ordering from them since.

This store is an absolute joke. I ordered a C1D1 phone case back in April and still have not seen it! I contacted them in May and after 6 weeks of waiting and they said it would be a COUPLE MORE MONTHS. Are you kidding? They said the vendor was making improvements to the case. If that was the reason then they shouldn't be selling the case as it is because it leads consumers to believe the case is already made and available when in reality it's not. The case was $2,000 and they charged a 70 dollar "CREDIT CARD FEE" and a 50 dollar shipping.for a PHONE CASE. For it to be almost October and still have no case is absolutely ridiculous. They refuse to refund my money and they are horrible about responding back to you when you ask for an update. They continue to say "we'll check with the vendor". I'm sorry, YOU ARE THE VENDOR. I'm to the point where I will be seeking legal action as that's 2,000 that we will never see again with the rate it's going. Words to the wise - do not buy anything from this store, they are scam artists.

If I could do zero starts, I would. This place tried to charge over 2 grand for shipping 45 flashlights from Houston to Baytown. Ridiculous. When I tried to contact them to resolve the issue, I was told emails would be sent from management and I would receive calls back. Never heard from them. I called countless times with no answer, ended up disputing the charges on my credit card. Flashlights have not been delivered. Here is the receipt:
