Vietnamese Restaurant iPhở reviews
16Went in to order eggrolls and out comes this tiny dog from the kitchen. The owners young daughter proceeds to chase the puppy around the dining area and scares it to where it poops and pees multiple times in the dining area as patrons are trying to eat and stare at the nightmare happening. Health department where are you? !? !? !? !?
This is really good Pho and the price is fair. They are quick and polite! I wouldn’t totally recommend!
If you don’t know what to order from this place. You must try the pho combination with all 5 types of beef. Absolutely delicious. The soup taste amazing, and won’t leave you feel heavy after eating is a plus!
The Pho was very good, it had been some time since I had a bowl and I am excited that I now know a good place to go in town for Pho. Along with the tasty blow and the excellent service the last thing I have to say is order the Grill pork spring roll appetizer, it brought a smile to my face after the first bit and we almost ordered a second round of them. I will be eating there again.
Pho was good. Facility was clean and didn't have that weird smell (IYKYK). The lady at the counter seemed impatient
Extremely good Pho! Happily busy on a Sunday morning but didn’t have to wait long. With it
Never tasted such bland beef pho before. Broth felt like diluted, less flavor. Other dish, sizzling beef with egg, was okay. Had very high expectations seeing all those five star reviews. Disappointed!
Ambience was good, spacious, clean and well-decorated. Wish I could praise the food too.
*Edit at end of review.
It’s obvious these people know what they are doing in cooking up a fabulous beef pho. There are 5 fantastic pho restaurants in the South Texas area out of around 50 I’ve been to, and this one is right at the top of the list. Been twice and will 100% continue to patronize. (Edit - 3rd trip and the pho was mediocre at best. It was like they short cutted the beef broth and didn’t use certain seasonings they usually do. Disappointing)
Has spicy noodle soup (aka bun bo hue). Pretty close to authentic (8.5 / 10 as missing shrimp paste mix with chilli). They don't joke around with spicy level, so make sure u can eat spicy food B4 u order the dish. Would come back again.
Pho king awesome always. My wife and I eat here almost every Friday. A large bowl of beef pho (#1) and a fried rice is more than enough for 2-3 people.
Great Pho, great service! I come here almost every week and food and service are always good and quick. Also very affordable!
The iPho Restaurant is a typical strip-mall restaurant serving decent Vietnamese cuisine. While service was adequate, the personnel were not particularly friendly, unlike many of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. Because I was short on time, I ordered the Bun - specifically, the chargrilled pork vermicelli bowl with crispy egg roll. The fish sauce had a nice kick, which I really enjoyed. Everything was fresh and hot, if a little short on fresh veggies. I particularly like more lettuce and some mint & basil leaves, which this dish did not include. While understandable, mint, sweet basil and even a little cilantro (!) can enhance the flavors of this dish. Still, the dish as served was quite flavorful and satisfying. Food portions were excellent, with plenty of chargrilled pork strips to meet expectations. Although not fancy or upscale, iPho is worth a try if one is visiting Aggieland in College Station.
I love this place. BEST PHO IN COLLEGE STATION HANDS DOWN. Extremely authentic pho. The staff is always very kind even if they can’t speak English that well, but also that’s how you know the pho is amazing. Love ipho. Only get ipho. If you’re eating pho at nam cafe, you’re making a mistake. Ipho for life.
I tell you what, this is an awesome place. The food is 5 star. The people are friendly as all get out. And the place is cleaner than a whistle in a bleach bucket. Worth the price of admission! Go, Aggies, Go!
The noodles are consistently good. I really like the beef noodle bowl. Fast service and tasty food. Great for a quick no nonsense meal.
Edit: same review. Had the beef pho with brisket and steak. Tendon is good, too.
