Great community, challenging programming, clean/maintained space, programs for building skill and nutrition. Iron Oak is an excellent gym and choice I'm happy I made to join after dropping into many other gyms around the country.

Love this place! The coaches are so knowledgeable and take the time to make sure you are doing the movements correctly to avoid injury or bad habits.
A really great workout! And the app makes it very easy to schedule your classes and see what WOD are ahead.

Great coaches, facility, and community. This place is top-notch. Challenging (yet still achievable/motivating) programming for all levels and coaches who care about doing things the right way. Love love love this place!

Iron Oak CrossFit is amazing! Before I fully joined, I tried a few CrossFit boxes in the heights area and downtown Houston and Iron Oak was the best CrossFit box by far. The coaches and the community members are amazing. The facility is very big, clean, and they have several big fans that keep the area well ventilated during hot days. There is plenty of equipment and it’s all very well maintained. They have plenty of class times available for all sorts of schedules and they offer a 24/7 access option.

The coaches are the very best, they are encouraging, friendly, and know their stuff. They give great feedback on form and modifications if needed. They regularly plan fun activities and challenges to keep the members engaged throughout the year. I have visited other boxes in different cities and states and the Iron Oak CrossFit coaches are the best by far.

They also offer nutrition coaching. I highly, highly, highly recommend taking advantage of this option if you want to learn better eating and wellness habits. The coaches are amazing and genuinely care about helping you reach your fitness and wellness goals.

I can’t say enough great things about Iron Oak. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a CrossFit gym.

Knowledgeable coaches, great environment for all levels. Joined the gym’s nutrition program in the Fall- lost weight, improved body composition and muscle balance and overall fitness.

My favorite place! Kind and fun community, and the best coaches around. I've been a member of several CrossFit boxes, and Iron Oak is hands down the best in Houston. Huge facility, awesome equipment and great instruction. I always leave feeling better than I did when I came in.

One of the hardest things about moving inside the loop was finding a gym I felt comfortable in. I wanted a welcoming space where I could lift without being judged. I had heard all sorts of horror stories about CrossFit and was very intimidated, but gave IronOak a try.
I’m so glad I did. As someone new to CrossFit I did the on boarding program and I was a great way to learn the proper technique for all the Olympic lifts. I’ll never be a competitive athlete, but I still have a place at IOC. The coaches make it a point to get to know the strengths and weaknesses of each athlete so you can meet your individual goals. They help you scale and modify workout so you can push yourself safely. The programming is well thought out and designed to improve your fitness, not just force you to do crazy things day after day.
The coaches and staff work so hard to plan fun activities. There are in house competitions, book clubs, optional challenges and nutrition coaching.

Overall, this is a great place no matter your level. It is on the pricy side, but the gym is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Plus, I want coaches who know how to focus on safely lifting heavy, not just lifting heavy.

Five-stars does not do Iron Oak justice. It is a 12 out of 10! A 12! I lucked into/got the privilege of being one of the single digit On Ramp grads at Iron Oak. Needless to say I have been a member on and off for over 9 years. It has always been a place of camaraderie and good vibes. The coaches always have the athletes best interest in mind and are upbeat and positive. The programming keeps the athletes on their toes, and I personally enjoy the different scaling options. It has a large indoor space with plenty of rig-space and varying weights, as well as men/women's dressing rooms and restrooms. I could go on an on, but I recommend checking it out for yourself.

Started CrossFit 1.5 years ago, my overall improved fitness and health goes to Iron Oak Crossfit! Yes, I put in the work but the programming, coaches and people of IOC made it so fun and worth it. Love this gym! If you're hesitant to join due to complex movements, rigorous training or risk of getting injured.don't worry IOC coaches will be sure to teach you proper technique to reduce risk of injures. Just like anything.to get better you have to practice at it!

I joined Iron Oak a little over 9 months ago and I’ve really enjoyed my experiences at this gym. I would not normally gravitate towards this type of fitness, but the coaches are always willing to help me scale and modify workouts so I feel confident, safe, and accomplished. I’ve made some great friends at the gym and I look forward to seeing people at various classes each week.

Fantastic gym with tons of space and great equipment, however, the best part is the community and coaches. I had never CrossFitted before coming to iron oak and the coaches and other members have gone out of their way to help me get up the learning curve and stay motivated. Now I drop in at a lot of other gyms when I travel and see how objectively great iron oak is.
