I got charged a pretty big move out fee and tried calling the number listed on my final account statement to ask some questions. Kara blankney is the person from corporate that deals with all final account statements. I had played phone tag with her all day and when we were finally able to communicate it was a nightmare. Unfortunately she was very disrespectful not only to me but to my friend as well who was trying to help me get some questions answered. I wanted to see receipts of what I was being charged for as the charges seemed a bit outrageous. Kara rudely denied me those receipts or invoices because they would have the company’s account information on it. I kindly asked if she was able to blur it out or crop it out that way I was able to see proof for what I was being charged for. Kara still disrespectfully declined me of those rights to see the receipts or invoices. Would you pay for something without seeing how much it cost? She then told my friend “I’m not talking to you, I’m hanging up now” and hung up. She also refused to email me because I asked if we could email as a form of communication that way I have a trail of everything that was happening. Kara said “we are talking on the phone right now I’m not giving you my email and I’m not emailing you. ” Kara blankney was genuinely the most disrespectful most unprofessional human I have ever encountered and I’m very surprised those phone calls are not recorded. I’m unsure of how she is able to hold the position she is in considering everything that happened with myself as well as other reviews I’ve read about her. All I asked for were receipts or proof of the charges that I was being charged for and all she did was eventually send me pictures of basic apartment wear and tear damages with no apology for the way she talked to me or my friend who was very polite with her. The way she talked to me on the phone was degrading. I still have pictures and videos of roaches crawling around the apartment and in my bed. As well as mold growing in the restroom while I was pregnant and the company was not taking me or my safety serious.

Terrible service. The people I spoke with on the phone were rude, unhelpful and very unprofessional. Never in my entire life have I ever seen a company so mismanaged or incompetent.

MOLD MOLD MOLD If you love living in mold and love to get hospitality bills for mold exposure and want a staff that doesn’t help and blame you and also is completely rude and will not let you break your lease because of mold this is the place for you perks are car and home break ins also health problems! This apartment is falling apart literally and all the staff does is paint over every problem to hide. THEY PAINTED OVER MOLD HOW DISGUSTING IS THIS! After they painted over mold ITS STILL THERE NOW ITS JUST WHITE PAINT MOLD

How is this allowed to happen by management of this company!

My landlord has violated our lease agreement it has been over 30 days that I have been living in mold mildew and also with a bug infestation there's short nails hanging from the ceiling no securely fastened there are exposed wiring everywhere the locks on my doors have rotted away due to poor upkeep so I have barely functional locks my apartment violates every property code in Dallas and my landlord said on video that she will not email me or contact me know one is allowed to contact me because I have talked about attorneys my apartment has a huge foundation issue major cracks support beams are severely damaged folding and falling apart. All of my emails have been ignored on purpose this apartment that I live in is in violation of every single Dallas city minimum standards code for housing and violates Texas state federal and health codes they have done nothing to fix the problem even though our lease says that they have seven days to fix MS JANE ALYCE ROSE has hired management does nothing she is the landlord and owner also a real estate attorney I have looked at every court record and so many people have the same problem as me with her units due to poor management and maintenance it is a serious health issue when you have to live in a place with mildew and mold and very frustrating when your ignored in the service request you put in is marked as complete. Dallas city inspectors came out and agreed that the unit is uninhabitable half of the ashwood apartments violate city and state code they refused to contact me so hopefully putting this review will help get a response.

Yesterday we walked inside our apartment and noticed that my family Christmas gifts, items, plants were missing (i was leaving to mcallen to deliver the gifts to family and friends) and that our blinds had been closed there was no sign of forced entry, when we informed the manager what had happened we were assured that no one had entered the unit because it was labeled as covid, and no one has stepped foot in that apartment. There are no work orders and i have not instructed anyone to enter the unit is what she said while giggling, we spoke with our neighbor and he says last week he saw the maintenance man there during the day then again at 9 pm at night with an unknown woman holding one of my plants. When i called the manager back she then states i sent him in to clean the carpet cause your move out date is 12/31/20, and that’s why he was there. I called sapd and pending investigation. Meanwhile corporate and enclave San Antonio will not investigate what happened and justifying why this man was inside the unit at 9pm. There has not been a notice of eviction there has not been a notice to terminate lease? So it’s ok for someone to walk into an apartment and help themselves to what’s inside?

Ashwood Park Apts office has awful customer service skills. Very snooty and not helpful.
