Island Joes Coffee and Gallery reviews
18Love their drinks. Super cute place. My cousin even stopped by on her way back to San Antonio.
After asking how many shots of espresso they put in their iced lattes, I was given an iced latte made with cold brew. After telling them they remade the drink with i'm assuming a drop of espresso that was still just as weak.
Updated*** 2023**Thank you for partnering with CASA of the Coastal Bend and Agape to support Foster kids in the Coastal Bend through sleeves of support! You guys are amazing!
Locally owned and pride of ownership shines at this coffee house! Love the Island Girl and an energy ball or two from here! They have meeting room access as well which is super handy!
Such a cute place to stop at! Loved the coffee, banana nut bread, and my boyfriend got a nice hat as well. What a cool experience!
It's coffee in shipping containers y'all. How cool is that? Get the energy bites or cucumber toast if you like being happy in life. My dog especially loves the pup cups. Love the staff and different drinks.
Perfect place for everyone, any time of the day! We sat on the second floor outside, and enjoyed coffee and treats! We were able to see the water from there! The have a large menu, and even had items that were keto friendly. The staff was very friendly, and service was fast! The art inside is a must see! What a great idea for the island! It’s definitely worth checking it out, you won’t be disappointed
Visiting for a quick getaway & found this place in a travel guide! Great coffee, awesome atmosphere, super friendly service, uplifting, encouraging, positive environment!
Something changed w this place.the iced latte was really milk with a tiny bit of coffee, I threw it away as it tasted like coffee flavored milk.the tea, well they no longer have plain iced tea.they replaced it with passion fruit iced tea which is sad.the food was mediocre. I dont understand why so many changes occurred. Island Joes wasn't broken and didn't need to be fixed "changed"
Oh! And ull go deaf sitting inside.the music is so loud u have to raise ur voice to talk which again is so sad
I want the old Island Joes bk w/o the changes!
Love the chai latte! With an extra shot. Cool vibe! Love the architecture of structure. Love the cucumber toast. Kolaches are awesome as well
Overall great experience. Great coffee, location, and setting. Hardworking baristas! Only downside was the sticky floor, otherwise everything else was great.
This is a cute, cozy coffee shop close to the beach. We didnt get coffee this time, but try their smoothie, was so delicious. I love the fact that they care about the environment, and the staff are very friendly.
Cool spit made out of shipping containers. They have a drive thru but and about 5 tables inside to eat plus a few seats at the coffee bar. Kolache is not the reg one you'd expect but very tasty - wish the food was hotter than it was. Overall a great place I return to every time I come to the coast
Came in to order and were sent to a table with a menu and then ignored. Never got a chance to order so we left.
Terrible service
Super cool, owned by locals! Not bitter like the guys down the road, just rich delicious coffee Cucumber Toast is my favorite breakfast! We send all of our guests of The Surf House there! Take a bag of beach trash for a coffee!
The food was good, but the coffee was a more boring version of Dutch Bros. The service was okay, but not friendly. I went to work while my family enjoyed sleeping in on vaca, having looked up many coffee shops on Google and deciding to shop local. This place got glowing reviews, so I decided to try it.
Once finding a place to park (which was a hassle), I went in expecting it to be awesome but was let down.
There were no availabe (quieter) tables without signs saying "don't sit here if there are less than 4 people", so I had to sit at the bar. While on a meeting, the bariata yelled the names of the people for pickup in my face multiple times while I was presenting.not professional on my part, and embarrassing to boot. It was HOT in there as well. It was August, but unbearably humid inside.
It may be decent for a mediocre coffee on a small island in any other month except Summertime, but don't try to work there.
The cutest coffee shop on the island and the best people, my favorite coffee place in Corpus
Amazing! Our wait was LONG but once we ordered we got our food and coffee quickly. The inside of the cafe is very cute and would be great for study or a date during slower hours. Food was really good, coffee was really good.
